Ah so you're talking about one of the leveler scenes then? Half expected it to be Reaper Hexus(as I like to call his skeleton version) when you mentioned Ferngully. Didn't scare me personally, nor did the leveler scenes either. I just found Reaper Hexus to be epic as hell, Hexus being freed by the leveler to be fascinating as the tree is processed into planks, and the part with Zack and Crysta almost getting caught up in the leveler to be harrowing sure but not frightening. Meanwhile Amazing Animals scared me as a little tot instead with the Amazing Scary Animals episode. Anytime the narrator spoke in a distorted voice scared the fuck out of me. I even developed a childhood fear of the dark and of vampire bats because of that episode. Also who the hell thought it was good idea to show a scary reflection bit? Seriously Henry(the show's gecko mascot) walks away from a mirror after getting pranked by the narrator, only for the reflection to remain in place. Then creepy ambient music plays as Henry's reflection turns all black with red eyes and has yet another deep voice. Seriously who in the crew was watching paranormal activity or whatever horror movie when making that episode? Then decided to get inspired by it?

It really feels like the DVD extras were more details from the books they couldn't fit in the movie. The first two films did their very best to keep as much details in.

The Playstation 2 like menu music not even the screen with the cubes but just the music I used to hide behind my dad when it would come on or leave the room, so that way I didn't have to hear it when he was playing games, since it was his PS2.

Funny enough for Evanescence, the Bring Me to Life music video scared me.

I was terrified of the THX logo as a wee boy, also the first piracy trailer you showed had me bolting.

That Werewolf Transformation Part Scarred Me So Bad I Ran Into The Closet Or As I Liked To Call It "My Comfort Space". Hell, Even Now At The Age Of 24-26 Years Old, I'm Still Scared Of Both Transformations And Werewolves!

i played this as a reaaaaaly young kid. i remember every part of it i cant say for sure but i believe i spent more time on this than the actual movie. the potions and all was a real eye candy for a kid in that age.

I remember seeing an episode of Kick Buttowski where Kick goes trick or treating at a haunted house and in one scene he screamed his skeleton out. I remember being so scared of that and I wasn’t even a kid.

When I was 9 my dad was flipping through TV stations and came across "The Thing" specifically the defibrillator scene (if you know you know) and I remember feeling sick but also like I shouldn't touch my own chest or else something similar would happen.

I also remember being spooked by bear in the big blue house, but it was the part where bear sniffs the screen, it made me like super scared for some reason

i was scared of the challenger approaching screens in super smash bros, especially the one in melee. they actually triggered my fight or flight response. it also somewhat fueled my fear of alarms/loud noises.

the dolby logo scared the heck out of me, had to run out of the room whenever it reared it's head. also the intro to the Walking With Dinosaurs Disc One DVD scared the hell out of me too.

I remember the game at 6:27! That used to scared me when I was young as well! I was looking at the picture for a long while until an orange pig face with glowing orange eyes and teeth popped up and screamed at me! That scared me for a long time and I stopped playing that game for a while! I did finished the game long ago but that jump scare still scares me!
