Welcome to the Family is a short film that premiered at the Lift Off Film Festival in 2022. Written and directed by Conner Hensley, this film tells the story of a life altering night, where a man is forced to answer one fatal question: "Is love worth killing for?"
The writing and preproduction for 'Welcome to the Family' began in 2020 during lockdown, and production was able to move forward in 2021, although with many Covid related restrictions still in place. Post production was completed in early 2022, and the short film premiered at the Lift Off Film festival in August 2022. It featured in several festivals after, and won "Best Thriller" at the 'Hollywood Just 4 Shorts' Festival.
