I would suggest get axis atlas or sbi miles card for accor and Amex Platinum travel for Marriott bonvoy as ICICI don't have a lot of travel partners to transfer as of now

Yes you can just use your free night voucher with HDFC card but can only redeem any property which is coming for 15,000 points because that’s the value of the free night voucher

You won't be able to get gold or platinum with just points transfer, you have to travel for that. Earlier it was possible with IDFC vistara & Axis vistara cards as they gave complimentary silver & gold vistara tier with it and that has been migrated to air india silver & gold. For now the only route is to take flights and you have to take a few revenue flights to be eligible for tier upgrade. IDFC is launching new Air India cards soon, details are not out yet. That might be your way to fast track to gold or platinum. I will share more details when the card is launched. Do subscribe :)

I feel due to migration from Vistara less seats were available from nov to January but it is not the case always like I booked my flights just 15 days back from the trip that too during peak new year season so it is always better to check

Yes! You have to pay taxes that is not covered with points. To give you an idea I paid around Rs. 18k in taxes for my round trip & connecting flights for 2 people. The taxes are more in this case as it was a connecting flight from Jaipr-Mumbai-Colombo & Colombo-Mumbai-Jaipur but for taxes also you can pay with SBI Air India Signature card or Axis Atlas and can earn points even on that payment, if you will pay via atlas you can get 900 miles as cashback and convert into accor for 1800 points which is further valued at Rs. 3240. Voucher booking is different than points booking. If you have not taken any flights from Air India your account will be in suspension state and once you take revenue flights it will be activated after that you will be able to redeem for family members as well. This condition is different from Vistara

Yes! You will get indigo bluechip points for aggregator booking also. But if you book through indigo website/app you get 4 additional points that you won’t get you will get base 8 points/₹100 but that is also doable if you are getting a better offer on MMT. SBI Air india signature card won’t help with any tiers as it only provides points no tier benefits. It is not possible with any cards now it was possible before merger with IDFC Club vistara & Axis vistara infinite but both banks have stopped issuing these cards now. Yes it is possible however there are certain T&C: 1. You need to be a part of family pool for the primary member 2. The Complimentary Ticket Voucher is voluntarily transferable to family and friends if member is 'Active' meaning member has fulfilled the below criteria: • Completed fifteen (15) days as a Maharaja Club member. • Flown at least two (2) Air India flights in different Booking reference numbers (PNRs) and is added to their account. These bookings must be revenue based (non-redemption).
