2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90 before and after
Переглядів 8727 років тому
Comparison of my 2005 Suzuki C90 before and after adding BCT Monster baffles. The tone difference is subtle, but what can be conveyed in video is how much more responsive my bike is now with the Monster baffles. I've regained all low end torque and throttle responsiveness is amazing

Installed Big City Thunder Monster baffles in my Cobra Speedster Slowdowns. While riding I can hear the deeper, throatier sound and most importantly I regained my low end torque in 2nd gear that I lost by debaffling the exhaust
Cobra Slashdowns on 2005 Suzuki C90

Cobra Speedster Slashdowns installed on a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90 with baffles PAIR device still in place and no after market fuel processor installed Engine stems and acorn nuts removed and replaced with stainless SHCS Side note: in hindsight, I should have pulled the bike out from where it was. The bike was in the back of my garage where I was working on it and the rear of the bike was abou...
How do you paint the chrome cover on the fake gas tank ..?
I took the whole fake gas tank, and panel off. Disassembled all of the pieces, taped what I didn't want painted, and lightly sanded the chrome to scuff it up. Then 2 coats of primer. Then your choice of paint color.
Waste of money, sounds the same to me. Also sounds like your bike is running far too lean.
I’ll tell u rn ur bike sounds like it’s running crazy lean
Looking to buy a Boulevard. Where did you purchase the 4 way flashers and how difficult to install? Also, how difficult was it ti swap out the rear lollipop turn signals? Thanks a lot.
Hi John - where do you live? I just upgraded to a Victory Magnum and are considering selling mine (it's matte white now) :-) Anyway, I got the turn signals off ebay. not going to lie, they were a PITA to install. the factory signals use a screw from the bottom of the mounts that seat right into the signal. The aftermarket signals do not work that way. They stay with a REALLY tight nut, fender washer and some Loctite. the key was to make sure the mounting posts for the new signal are hollow to run your wires.
Eri: Thanks so much for getting back with me so quickly. I live in SE North Carolina just about 25+ miles north of Myrtle Beach. Based on what’re saying, I’m gonna pass on doing that install, 😁
@@johnmiddleton726 no problem. NC is probably a little too far. I'm outside Chicago. I don't blame you. I love the look over the factory signals, but it took months of trial and error to get it right, so the lights would stay put. often would find them loose and pointing down! LOL. I'm sure there are ways, that I haven't considered to make it work, but it's working now with what I did and I don't want to undo it!
Where did you mount the Amp?
There is no amp. Those are Kuryakan MTX Road Thunder speakers. Everything is built in.
Is this a Suzuki 90 boss? If so what highway bars are those? I’m looking for better ones for my c90boss
Hi Barbara. No this is not a C90 Boss, just a regular old C90 Boulevard from 2005 (not even a C90T). Those are Lindby Highway bars.
love the color
Thanks. Its Burnt Orange. Tcpglobal.com
Where did you get the exhaust tips??
Hi Paddy B... They came with the Cobra pipes.
Might I ask what fairing that is?
It's a Memphis Shades Batwing
Where dis you get the front fairing from?
Isaac rodriguez I bought it on phatperformance.com. But i think most stores have them. It's a Memphis Shades brand.
Eric Weiss also, do you know if you can go bigger on the front wheel? An if so how big?
I'm not sure about this. I suppose there may be space to go bigger. but the front tire of the Boulevard is already pretty large. I ride with guys on, HD, Kaw's, and Yamaha and the front tire on the C90 is by far the largest. the tire is 150/80-16 (6" wide). I suppose if you take the fender off you "might" be able to go a little wider, but then you have to worry about securing the brake lines (as the brackets attach to the fender). I've never measured the distance between the front forks. I have no idea how much bigger you could go and the increase would be almost imperceptible and wouldn't be worth the money (IMO)
Eric, looking good! There is an easy fix to the 'fast flash' turn signals when you added LEDs. Just get an aftermarket turn signal relay off of fleabay. You can take a look at a "couple" of my mods on the suzuki forum. I have lots of links, including one for that aftermarket relay :-)= forums.delphiforums.com/rlcmc/messages/?msg=89635.1
How do you go about removing that imitation air intake thing in between the jugs
A willoughby you can buy any PAIR device removal kit. Here's one from Gman www.gmanindustries.com/shop/pc/Pair-Valve-Kit-Suzuki-VL800-p574.htm
Have you ever had any idle issues? Like stalling at a red light?
Also where did you get the fairing?
No. not before or after any of the mods I've made.
I bought it from Phatperformanceparts.com
just saw your comment from 6 months ago. Just got fuel processor. so far so good. I still had some back firing and "gurggling" on deceleration. that has gone away since the fuel processor has been added.
how's it run with no fuel processor? Do you plan on getting one?
