I have a question.❤ When changing to LED blinkers, do I change the relay to LED?
Can you post a link to where you bought the new filters? I bought some online but they did not come with the plastic frame to support the filters, unfortunately. I’m tempted to just 3D print them, but would be nice to buy the right part.
What type of grease did you use/does it matter? Also, what's the make and model battery are you using?
Definitely need to do this!! Gotta hit up JC for a guard
For sure! Super easy install and the black will go well with your bike.
Great video! Can you tell me where you got the regulator?
JC Pakbikes
The screws that attach your mirrors to the cowl brackets are incorrect... they should be the special brass Ducati ones. If (god forbid) you should put it down the road, they will snap off and save the supports from breaking - avoiding a massive mess. Those supports, at least in Europe, are hard to come across now.
Good to know, I’ll look into it!
Awesome video. Love the bike!
Thank you!
Is this with baffle installed or not?
Without baffle.
Nice video I have question Where did u bought your fleda ?? I looking for it Cordialy
JCPakBikes
Thanks Yours front watsen led too??
And how cost it ?
Great sound, thanks for posting this. I have the same bike but with the dual Zards.
Love the sound of the Zards as well. Though I must admit I prefer the classic looks of the Termis
@@remysportclassic8140 I too prefer the look of the single Termi but the Zards are a work of art!
Fantastic bike, if I can advise you, I have installed pipercros washable filters, they are eternal. Nice video
Thank you for the tip!
? Have you had issues with the black stripe on the tank bubbling? There is one Im looking at that has a couple almost air pockets in the black stripe. Thanks
I have not had any issues with that, though I have friends who have.
oil cooler?
Yes, the air cooled Ducati’s still have an oil cooler.
I have Termignoni on my 999, and it is amazing. I like the look of OEM
Love the 999. Super underrated in the Superbike family. I expect it to be a highly sought after future classic.
big difference, so much better
Thank you! It really wakes up the bike…and my neighbors lol
I installed the system on my ducati 998s too. Assembly a bit cumbersome, but you not often have to change the system - luckily ;-)
Hi there! Any advantage of installing a new one or it just needed replacement?
This is a common fail point for the Sport Classic as the positioning of voltage regulator does not allow for ample cooling. The stock oem unit is also poorly made with flimsy wires. This aftermarket unit is vastly superior with better gauge wire and a more robust design overall. It will keep you from becoming stranded while out on a long ride.
@@remysportclassic8140 you won’t believe it. My GT1000 died on me today. I started it, let it warm up a bit while putting the helmet and gloves on, rode less than 20 meters and off it went, no chance to turn it on again! Crazy coincidence. I’ll have to find out what’s wrong with it tomorrow. All the electronics worked but the start motor doesn’t even try to crank the engine. It died while riding down a street in 1st gear at maybe 20km/h. Sounds familiar?
I would check the battery, and then the battery ground. It is possible to have enough battery to turn on stuff without having enough power to actually start and run the bike. Remember stator is only charging the battery when the revs are over 3k.
@@remysportclassic8140 thanks man! I had the bike over at a Ducati workshop. They checked the entire motorcycle and didn’t find a thing. I hope it doesn’t happen again.
Bad system designed by Ducati in my humble opinion. Too much bolts in two sides (high risk of crack when is old). Too much work. Is better remove these and fit the inside airbox mushroom type and save time and work. Anyway nice video.
I agree, it’s a bit convoluted. I hope this video will help others with the task.
First like and comment...boom
Thank you!
Just done ...almost the same mod on my bike took pressure plate off , removed the rod my new pressure plate has the bearing , not the cap ...can I get the old cap out no ! Its no biggy just have to order one just wish the company that sold me the parts had put one in there . Nice vid enjoyed
Thank you! My aim is to make how-to vids that just get to the point and are easy to follow. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
SIGNIFICANT difference!!
Thanks. It really is!
@@remysportclassic8140 I have termi’s on my 96 monster. They are impressive.
Just used this to replace my pressure plate thanks. Didn't have a new pushrod pin so had to welly the old one out with a rubber mallet
Glad it helped!
it looks incredible. I want to buy this bike because of tron
You won’t regret it. It’s an amazing machine!
Hey Remy! I’d just like to say thanks for posting. It’s so hard to find maintenance videos on the sport classic and your content is always super detailed and helpful! Keep it up :).
Wow, thank you so much!
Does it not matter that it’s open to all of the elements now like that?
Not particularly. There can be some concern of the plates sticking together after a hard rain or washing, but that can be remedied by running the engine for a a minute or so to let the water out.
Awesome video, thank you! Very well edited to cover all the important points.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Nice 911!
Ha! Thanks, it belongs to my neighbor. 😄
wow, looks super clean and it's so easy to install🔥 would definitely buy one once i get my hands on a sport classic
It really is! Good luck on your SC search!
Hey where did you buy the light? I thought they discontinue? Btw thanks for the video! I have same bike as you👍🏻
Hi,Thank You! Glad you like the video! I got the lights from JCPAKBIKES. Look him up. He's the Sport Classic guru.
Thank you for posting!!
El Rolyat You’re very welcome! 👍👍
great video! ive been wanting to do this to my GT since the stock lights broke.
Thank you! It was a fairly simple and fun mod to do. Really cleans up the front end. Good Luck!
