I love the pink candle for Joy Sunday. Love mixing the much loved Christmas hymns mixed with modern worship songs. Pastor Travis, I love your story of you big yes and ending up in Montana. Pastor Carrie and I had a fun discussion about what it must have been like to be Mary and have an angel appear in front of you and more fun discussion and questions and discoveries. Thank you for helping me to understand what salvation is. First Lutheran has such caring, kind believers in Christ that love to help as many people as possible during their lives. Pastor Travis thank you for reminding us about the times we have said Yes and why we decided too. Beautiful faith music ended a beautiful service where the Holy Spirit was present. Very uplifting service.

Thank you Pastor Norton, choir, and relatives/friends who all braved the snowstorm to celebrate the life of my mother. Thank you also to all the church staff who shoveled the snow at the church endlessly to keep us safe- we saw you out there working hard!

Amen🙏 Sometimes the old lady with only two cents, the invisible, is right in front of us and with all our obligations and busy lives, we don't realize it, even if they are under our own roof. Sometimes, those people are quiet or their own pride keeps them from being noticed, and sometimes they are just putting their faith in God, because we just know that he will take care of us. We need to try and notice even those that are right in front of us. 🙏 This was something that I personally went through, but I just knew that God would provide. We never starved, but there were times that I thought we would. We have a 135+ year old house with lots of issues. We were without a vehicle here and there, things were always testing our faith, but we just knuckled down and prayed harder. Until just recently, God answered our prayers and blessed us. I never wanted to complain, I never wanted to ask, but it got to the point where we had to, and God delivered us with blessing that I couldn't ever imagine and I am so truly grateful! Thank you Dear Lord for answering my prayers, I pray that I may be able to help those in need. Please point them out to us, even those that we wouldn't realize that need it. In Jesus's Name, Amen. 🙏

I miss going to church so very much! I miss sitting with my Christian brothers and sisters. I miss that sound of hush or whoosh I hear and feel in the holy sanctuary when I come in for Communion with Pastor Travis. The Church is our home for coming together as one. Thank you Pastor Travis, I just fed my birds and as the Blue Jays flew in sounding the alarm for food I realized no election will stop nature from doing its thing. God’s creatures help me to be reminded he is in charge of this planet, not a single person. Feed the birds and listen to their joy for their seed.

I'm not upset by any outcome. I am so grateful to God for all that he has blessed me and my family with. What we all need to remember, God is in the drivers seat and we are just the passengers. What is to be, is what is to be. God Bless Everyone and keep the faith, always. 🙏🙏🙏
