I’m a young beginning pianist and composer and I make decent music once in a while. I really like math, computer science, astronomy, and engineering and post occasionally about some of that as well.
I’ve been messing around with the Phrygian dominant scale

My GarageBand cover of Kraftwerk’s “The Model”
This is pretty good! I agree that this would work with an NES style game, the only thing I would change would be to vary up the chord progressions, that way you’d add a little more spice to your song. Overall good work!
Yeah this would work with an NES/8 bit style game
such a pretty scale, nice work
Thank you!
sounds like a desert theme from a 90s video game
That’s high praise to me, I love older video game music.
@@AidenC2718 so do I, if chiptune never existed i probably never wouldve gotten into music
@@novapulse_music_I just looked at your channel; you’re crazy underrated! I like your music, that most recent video reminds me of big giant circles if you’ve ever heard of that
@@AidenC2718 Thanks! also i don't know what big giant circles is could you tell me
I love it!
Thanks!
Ooooooooh I like the whaaamp sound. It might sound weird but I’m my head and acoustic guitar would sound good in this song
Lemme think about that that sounds interesting
wooow! maybe one of your best
I hope so! I’m glad you like it! (:
I really like this one
Cool
Has Middle Eastern vibes melody on top of a rhythm that reminds me of Bach's Toccata & Fugue. I like it!
I’m glad you like it! I like some different scales that end up having this sort of sound. Thanks!
Less than a minute in and I know I'm going to be relistening to this over and over
That’s awesome! Thanks!
Sounds like a song you'd hear on an indie RPG game. Cool stuff
Thanks!
why does the intro sound like the great strategy
Where did the car video go 😭
Very Nice! Pretty chill tune 👍
Glad you like it!
damn, very rappable
Marvelous work!
Many thanks!
Its giving some Kraftwerk vibes. Very nice!

What happened to the video 😢
Got some interesting Middle Eastern themes to it
cute
Nice.. needs a drop and then 🎉🎉
Hey it’s just an introduction
This is indeed a very nice electronic song :) Also do u have your keyboard connected through MIDI or r u just using the garageband keyboard? Bc Im pretty sure your keyboard has MIDI output.
GarageBand keyboard + quantization + editing the notes when I have to. Thanks!
Great song dude, loved how calm it is, keep it up
Thanks a lot!
Very good music👍
Thank you!
I made this cover of Kraftwerk’s “The Model” completely by ear and I do like how it turned out.
I think it is time for another Kraftwerk song remake, or some AMK?
This is very good anthem and what is the name of your fictional country?
its nice, i like it but if you listen closely youll hear dissonants but thats alr ig
Well I’d say most of music is based around the tension and release between dissonance and consonance
@@AidenC2718 ig thats right but in 0:12 measure 6, the very first note on all the instruments (a) directly clashes with the Bb on the timpani
@@AidenC2718 but id say its good tho, u make better orchestral piece than me
@@AidenC2718 ua-cam.com/video/xD5uj59HzVA/v-deo.htmlsi=ESRU3uvNe835EhR4 heres a music i made but its not rly an orchestral piece its more like a duet
I mean you can hear that the tonality of the timpani is pretty negligible here
nice how did u make it
Notion mobile is the software I used
Keep it up! I am excited to see you grow as a composer.
Thank you very much!
Great ! Did you use MuseScore ?
Nope, I used Notion Mobile! Thanks!
i just realized but ur using a default garageband melody pattern, but despite that this is fire 🔥
It was just based on that, and that changes throughout the song. Later on I change it around a bit. Thanks!
How you made it?? And your anthem is good!
I made it using Notion Mobile. It’s not the most high end powerful thing but it’s honestly really good. I like using it!
@@AidenC2718 thanks for your info!
Sounds epic :]
goooood
Needs a drop .. but awesome intro/ setup
Putting all those new Kraftwerk records to some good use. #inspiration
Nice going Aiden. John was particularly impressed with your sounds to accompany your music. Keep up that creative energy of yours!
Thanks a lot! I’m glad that he liked some of those things. I sure will.
Nice going Aiden. John asked me to pass along that he realyy likes some of the sounds you incorporated in this music.
Got a bit of a @wintergatan feel to it
Still one of my favorites...
Yeah it’s a good one
Needs an AMK type vocal. 🎉
How did you make it? Show the code?
Very well made, this definitely deserves more views. Sounds like a credit scene for a fun goofy video game.
Thanks!
