I am a professional bird taxidermist. I only work on animals that die of natural causes.

I am a keen birdwatcher and conservationist, and see my work as a contribution towards taxonomy and the preservation of our species. I am devoted to protecting wildlife and try to be an ambassador for animals in all of my endeavours. My podcast, Specimens, is my attempt to open the dialogue about our planet, and the ways we can help to protect it. You can listen internationally, wherever you get your podcasts.

Through many of my endeavours I have made resources for those looking to get into the industry, which has historically been quite closed. This includes a private group for mentorship, the IGTV series 'taxidermy tip tuesday' and also my patreon where I teach from as little as $1.50. My hope is that these efforts will go some small way in helping people access our industry, whilst simultaneously dismantling preconceived notions of who and what a taxidermist can be.
