This song was created to impress our vocalist favorite drummer in the world, who just happen to be from the Cleveland area, who had agreed to be our drummer. You see, at that time, this was the 1st band that Wayne, Jeff, and I had ever been in. We wanted to be a band that did Gothic music, but we really weren't there yet. Jeff Allington, our vocalist, and Wayne Hopkins, our bassist came into our practice room one day excited that they somehow got this guy name Jeff Pell, who had been in a host of other bands, including a Gothic band shadow Of Fear, who I had seen a few years before open for Tones On Tail. Under the pressure of wanting to impress him, I came up with this song. It was the 1st truly Gothic song we did.
