All the clips from starwars showed oxygen and gas burning up itself from an explosion. No camp-fire there. But Acolyte showed a camp fire in space, and the twin with a Fire extinguisher, to put the fire out. Fire needs oxygen! But there is no oxygen in space, so a Fire extinguisher is senseless there. The moment I heard about this book, and the fact this will be a trilogy, I found myself so eager since the politics of Star Wars is something I'm fascinated by. And knowing Rebecca Roanhorse is writing the second book has me more excited because Resistance Reborn is one my favourite Star Wars books.

I am so hyped for the skydance game because that's written by a really competent* writer, Amy is the goat.

I knew Star Wars was gone for good when people started “bleeding crystals” instead of swapping them in and out of their lightsaber hilts. It was like America when we started putting ranch and pineapple on pizza. Just disgusting and pitiful.

Bleeding a crystal is such a downgrade from naturally colored vs synthetic red

First off , video games are different. Second , I didn't hate how it happened rather everything else or I felt like she should have killed him in a more brutal way or just less control. Also , it just felt to easy , your logic made sense but i feel like you left out how the dark side is fueled by hate and emotions , being able to control and focus that power would make her crazy OP. So many stories in lore and maybe cannon are Vader tapping into that power source to stay alive when most would have died , sure maybe Vader is more powerful overall but he is flawed. In your own logic we get that with seeing him struggling , it doesn't make sense with in the rules of how the dark side works well enough to me. I did watch the show though and it's not a 1/10 , I was just "meh" with a mix of really? But not in a good way or the way they were going for.

Give up on trying to understand this show it's written by people who don't like starwars. And have a little self respect and just call it trash if you see trash

Red kyber crystals how do we get them? 3 ways! You as a dark side adept go kill and take a jedis crystal, AND OVER TAKE THE LIGHT SIDE in the crystal in order to bleed it. Create a crystal. Meditate on the force in a special furnace that normally creates red because it was the easiest. Dantooine- Dantari crystals reflect the force alignment and emotions of the wielder. SO HOW DOES THE RED LIGHTSABER MAKE SENSE!?!?!? None of this free cosmetic upgrade garbage. How is it that both DARTH VADER AND BEN SOLO ARE ABSOLUTELY ROCKED, and youre ok with that as if it makes sense? ARE YOU FARMING HATE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS JUST MAKES YOU LOOK DUMB TO YOUR OWN PEOPLE!!?!?

But the difference between Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and even Dagan Gera, is that they were all delibarate in their actions to bleed it; but Osha just seems hateful and not knowingly pouring her hatred into the crystal. So her not doing it out of her own will, doesnt make sense to me.

Another thing to consider: Sol accepted his fate. He didn't resist, he allowed Osha to kill him, and even whispered it was okay. He accepted his punishment. And, due to their attunement, it's possible the crystal also didn't resist. Also interesting to consider: Osha now carries the remainder of both her master and the weapon that killed her mother. I wonder if this could allow us to see Sol again in 2nd season. Not as a Force Ghost, obviously, but he could appear in visions to Osha because of the crystal in her weapon. She could potentially also have visions of what really happened during her mother's death.

The direct contact and actively killing the owner of the crystal making it easier to bleed makes sense, but I don’t think Osha was remotely free of conflict. Mere minutes later, she’s suddenly happy go lucky and subsequently sobbing with her twin who she’d held a deep seated hatred for, and none of the new information should’ve really changed that (now if the Sith had actually manipulated the people there to incite the explosion, then sure I can see the reconciliation but as far as we are told, that was not the case). Osha even goes so far as to say she’ll turn herself into the Jedi. That’s not someone who’s so immersed in the dark side that her hate and rage are all that are fueling her actions. I think we ultimately have to do the same thing we do with the duels in the OT, which is make up a bunch of contrived in-universe “reasoning” for why things worked in a way that really kind of does directly clash with the majority of the canon.

Why Could Osha Bleed Kyber Crystal So Easy? Because she is the new (first) choosen one more powerful then Anakin duhhhhh. She hasnt been through anything like Anakin but can still bleed it first try.... not buying it at all. I hope we never see another season. I dont even want to get into how bad this show is narratively. Just because she interjected Plagueis and Yoda for 3 sec screen time each doesnt mean its all of a sudden a good show.
