01-05 Lexus IS300 MEGAN LOWERING SPRING INSTALL
what up everyone, i hope everyone is having a good day.. well heres my first diy video as stated. this installation is specifically but not limited to the 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 Lexus is300 models. we installed some Megan racing 2" lowering springs. still getting used to the whole thing so please don't mind the stuttering etc ahhaha but as always let me know your feedback and other videos such as diy or how tos youd all like to see any feedback is welcome thanks in advance to all that like and or watch this video!
**side note** he surprisingly didnt have to roll or modify his fenders to clear nor does he rub with these lowering springs.

This is specifically for 97-01 prelude when your turn signal switch doesn't want to retract/cancel after finished with turn. I have the full Nrg quick release set up but OEM steering wheel has same indents/tabs... Feel free to leave comments and ill answer to the best of my abilities. Bruhh i was doing a homies/customers car and was super lost he even went under to look for the drain bolt and I told him I think it's this hex but not sure ima due research and I didn't find any till now tbh solid info broskie even by telling us the socket size and hex size

Was the oil drain plug counter clockwise to remove? I'm trying and its really on their tight if its right threaded.
Yes, it is counterclockwise, they are a bit tough as i honestly don't know the exact torque spec
Those "spacerers" in the rear are your rear camber adjusters, and if it'has the factory auto leveling HID headlights you will have to adjust those as well. But great video, love the IS300, I Am on HR springs, still rides amazing, but it's a yearly routine of raising and lowering cause i rock the IS IN in the winter.

I went to AutoZone today & purchased everything in this vid , changed my oil in 15 mins.. why I have a 2016 q50 & my drain plug is the same ?
Q50 is the q60 4 door alot of similarities

Yes, but after changing struts it is recommended to make sure tires are good(and if not replaced) and a alignment after no matter what.

Thanks Man from UK, like you said info on the 2.0t is so rare, especially in UK now Infiniti have pulled out. I could do with knowing how to change the sparkplugs next, I've tried but can't unplug the coils scared of breaking them so have given up. Again cheers. PS do you know the size of the sump plug gasket? I'm seeing 14mm on line but it looks bigger in your hand?
Yeah seems infiniti likes people bringing the cars only to the dealerships hahah. I shall be doing a complete tune up video of this 2.0t Q60 soon!

That i do not know as I've never worked on one nor know the motor codes to see if theyd match sorry

That's why i did it! The dealerships will only charge the hell out of you but with some help anyone can do anything and save some money! And learn a new trick at the same time! Thanks for your response really gave me motivation to start doing more videos to help others!
Nice vid. So is the drain bolt that hex bit socket? Or is it a regular 14mm bolt? Not sure if I need that hex tool or a socket. There is little to none information about this anywhere. I'm considering making a tutorial just to provide clear instructions.

The 2.0T 4 cylinder is a pain to do the oil change and the reason for the oil filter being a cartridge type is because the engine is actually a Mercedes Benz engine. Be careful when removing the oil filter from the oil filter housing (the tip is known for breaking); it’s kind of finicky to remove the housing from engine as well, not much room due to the intake being in the way.
Exactly! Hahaha this is the newest car at my house at the moment so starting with that and no pictures videos or anything didnt help hahaha thanks for the tips, i was able to do it without harming anything

Salah Attia check wiring and try other bulbs I've had new bulbs that were blown out the box try pressing in and wiggling the bulb in the socket

Engine bay fusebox you have a fuse for left headlight and right headlight bottom right in the box if i remember right
