Hello nike brings back these shoes , I had some in 1982 so red , a long wait for years thought if someday I could buy a pair again .in 1982 I was 13 years old . Finally back thanks nike.
Wish that Nike still made these type of sneakers. Im tired of all these super lightweight paper thin minimalist shoes... give me something comfy.

When you wear them does the turf tread feel any different than the normal tread on AFs and Dunks. Im sure im exaggerating but part of me thinks it would feel like your wearing cleats lol.
Not really - I’ve been wearing them for months now and don’t really notice a big difference. Similar to a Samba tread I guess.
The 2024 version looks identical to these!
hopefully not or that means NIKE failed again making a decent retro of the 1989 sneaker. But we have the answer now. The 2024 iteration is what looks the closest to the OG. The 2015 is OK but it not good in terms of shape, color and feel.

I don't run but need a shoe that is very comfortable just to walk in cause after playing ice hockey for 25 years and having knee surgeries on each knee twice I can say that the Invincible 3 makes walking so much better.

TTS? Unions site says they run big to go half a size down?
Check the comments. Yes they run a bit big after a few wears. If you wear thick socks then it’s not noticeable.
I agree with the website go down half a size. I normally wear size 10 on Jordan 1’s so if you want more room stick true to your size.
Would you say either or one of these models could actually be used for indoor flag football on astro turf or low cut grass or are they more for "show/style"? Thanks!
Maybe on Astro turf if you want to rock something different. They are definitely more lifestyle than performance.

Update, how's the fit?
Yeah my TTS is 12 and that’s what I went with. The toebox has maybe a cm or two of room when I wear regular Nike crew socks and it’s not terrible. I’d rather have a tiny bit of room than have my toes cramped. The width is pretty normal, similar to a J1. Can’t go wrong either way!

I went for my size anyway. I can make it work if it fit too big.
I’ve worn them a few days now and they do run a bit big so you should be good.

@sneakerstyleguide is it a "bit big" enough to say TTS won't work? I'm a true 7.5 but wear 8 in most of my shoes (mostly Jordans) cuz I like a tiny bit of room. Got these in a 7.5.
@@JoshuaHodge-p8n I think you should be good with a 7.5. I am a true 10.5 and this pair is an 11 and is too big now that I’ve worn them for a few days.
I actually just placed my order today! They were giving out exclusive access to their sms list and I was able to order both colorways. For sizing though, on their recommendation at least, they said to go down half a size. I personally have the original white and red version you showed that gave me about a thumbs length of room so now I’m worried about the fit😅
Nice! Ok yeah I noticed the lining inside is a bit slippery so your foot may slide around a bit. So it may be best to size down like you did.

Thank you - yes I agree they are a bit different so definitely not for everyone. Union has a big following though so I think a lot of people will go for them.

From what I can remember back in the day when they released the Vaporfly 4% they had a much more compelling color palette. Up until the Vaporfly N%2. Alpha 2, Invincible 3 and newer were for the most part awful looking.

Absolutely. Mostly what I use them for!

Get your typical Nike running size. I am an 11 and these fit TTS.

Great early review! I’m looking for a daily errand type trainer. If you’ve tried the Vomero 17, would you recommend that or the Peg 41 comfort wise? For reference, I feel the Invincible line is a bit too much for daily activities chasing the kids and such. I use those for actual running :) thanks!
I agree with you about the Invincible! I haven’t tried the Vomero 17 yet but I will say this new Peg 41 is excellent for daily parental activities. Thats what I’ve been using them for!

Boring in what way? Do you mean they lack a big chunch of squishy, unstable foam under foot? I have the pegasus 40, and they're fine. This one looks a little better aesthetically.

Midfoot is snugger than previous models thanks to the new lockdown system. They are ideal for a normal foot. The toebox is normal - may not be ideal for a wider foot.
