I have one gripe with the end of Dune 2, and it's that Chani goes off in a huff because she thinks Paul is gonna get it on with the Empress. In the books she's not stupid, and she knows right away what the plan is, Paul tells her, and she agrees knowing it's a good plan to marry the empress. Paul states that he will wed her but bear her no children or sleep with her to snub the Emperor. So yeah, having her go off in a huff in the movie seems a little childish, a pointless event to build up tension, pointless tension. Paul and Chani's relationship is solid, one of the biggest love stories in the history of time, it belittles their love having her go off in a huff.

eh dune is obviously much more developed than star wars, but itll never be a cultural icon simply bc the concept is fucking weird. creator was def on acid when making it or something

I’m sure you know this by now but the black and white sections of the film were shot in camera in infrared which is why those parts look so cool

Movies have been so bad lately, literally have been starved for this kind of movie, I can't get enough of it, I am blown away that a director had the balls to just step on everyone in the entire industry and put this out. Nothing has captivated me since the original Star Wars trilogy, I hope, there is a Dune Messiah coming. Also Stilgar might be my favorite movie character of all time, top 5 at least. I can’t get behind anything Disney has put out for Star Wars, grew up with it as long as I could remember. Never even knew what Dune was until the first movie trailers went out, but now after seeing the second movie I’m hooked

I loved Dune 1 and 2 by Villanueve. But listen... it Might be visually better, shot better, written better, directed better than Empire Strikes Back.... But it AINT BETTER. Wont in a million years have the same impact, no matter what it does in the box office. It AINT BETTER.

Started a new drinking game. Took a shot every time you said "like". Was passed out in 3 minutes. Woke up at 20 minutes in, don't remember anything past 20:30. Woke up in a ditch. 10/10 highly recommend.

I honestly think empire strikes back is overrated. Dont get me wrong its good but its not even the best star wars movie. Revenge of the Sith, Clone Wars, Andor and even Rogue One are all better than ESB imo. Im tired of the idea that the original cant be topped because its the original. so the first time i ever went to see dune was with a guy it was originally supposed to be like a cute little date type thing, i ended up getting so engrossed in the movie i fogot he was there.. but the movie was so fucking good like dune pt 1 and 2 are phenomenal

You demonstrate little grasp of DUNE's place in the history of science fiction. For your own sake and for the sake of your audience, please stop emoting "fuck" with every other breath. Well, the age of respect ended long ago. I was a serious film student in high school and at the University of North Carolina though I chose to earn an English degree. At the age of 17 and at the age of 21 I would have found your writing embarrassing. After feverishly taking notes on my lectures, my best students would have laughed at your offerings --- and not because they're funny.

We seem to be of similar minds. I had two sightings. One in 1979 at night. One in 2001, during daylight. Both were reported to MUFON. MUFON also interviewed me. That defeats the purpose of any any site like Tyler's as well as the purpose all of us have who have had experiences we want answers for. So, a couple years ago, I also stopped watching Tyler. In the intervening period, I have honestly thought of him occasionally. Tonight I was doing some research on the drone flights over the RAF and USAF bases in the UK and some people are talking UFO/UAF. I don't believe that is the issue. But, I did think, again of Tyler and when I went looking for Secureteam10 online, I just Googled it as I don't think I have his channel marked in my UA-cam any longer. And, I happened upon this, your video. I can recall, as you will, there were times when Tyler was sure he was being watched and was very antsy. No one can speak to these issues but Tyler, I suppose. But, I think if he really had something incredible, he would make a move with it somewhere or sock it away and lie low. There have been, you'll probably acknowledge, a few very odd deaths among Ufologists. Anyway, I commend you for your logic, your common sense, you willingness to learn, and your honesty in handling this situation. The toxic commenters you mention (and I haven't seen your other videos or the comments so this is just me...) are part of THE problem with the whole UFO/UAP issue. This movie has become possibly my favorite movie of all time. I can watch it over and over and it always just stuns me. The sound - the imagery.. the ACTING.. all top tier and really cant be done better. i worry about the next movie though.
