An outrageously simple 'analysis' which ironically lacks any complexity beyond surface level character motivation. Stick snazzy jazz music to anything and it will invariably seem interesting. Nah. Glad you quit the film review game, Noteworthy x
Hi @christoseuripidou1356, as the writer of this video and someone who is always open to criticism and improving my writing, I sincerely would like to hear from you how this video could have been improved. You can let me know what you thought was lacking?
@@joelontong7449 It’s just really poorly written imo, You havent analysed anything beyond basic-101 dramatic construction and character motivation. Like I said, it reads like really really surface level film criticism No mention of how of boambach achieved this complexity through his blocking of actors, his incredibly precise compositions, instances when he chooses to allow scenes to play out in master shots vs close ups. The slight screwball influence of his writing and how it differs from other Boambach films up to that point, etc. Basically no mention of the aesthetics of the film in relation to the content. I mention the form of the film because it’s well known that Boambach is pretty uncompromising with how he achieves the supposed ‘naturalism’ in his films. Theres like 80 years worth of amazing film criticism available to read online by some staggeringly great writers, I would encourage you to read some of it and soak up what makes a great review. Some great video editing though

This was the first movie I have watched in a very long time that actually kept me captivated. Warm, charming and very realistic characters. This was like medicine for the heart. Beautiful.
Gosh this movies was so relatable to me back when it came out. I was a Theater student, happy go lucky type of guy (still am) but had this optimism in pursuit of happiness (dreams). It was painfully relatable watching this film, and has become my all time favorite.
