Qualcomm Stadium Transformer Vault
This was the first time I had seen this room open when the stadium was fully powered up. It sounds like cancer.

Got an email from Google Video the other day, to get any videos off by the end of April, as they're shutting it down, so I figured I'd grab this one, and put it up here. This was shot in 2006 at the height of the "Mentos and Coke" phenomenon. This video represents the worst ever documented attempt at doing anything interesting with Mentos and Coke. Really.

Zeus the Kitteh Vs. The Palm Frond
Переглядів 46615 років тому
Zeus the Kitteh at approx 15 weeks old. A palm frond fell down from one of the palm trees in our back yard...the first time this has occurred since our boy Zeus joined our little family. As he sniffed, I gave the frond a little shake, and hilarity ensued.

50 000 watts What the fuck
Since 1:07 , heart@ 200bpm, what the fuck was that 😖😖😖. Keep up, good job
Ooooh cool
Paul Dourish, The Stuff of Bits, Chapter 6, brought me here! thank for the vid!
8 batteries?? they weigh 65lbs each? wow i have 2 batteries can i use a dc voltage step up booster? to got from 24v to 48v? or do i need the have 4 batteriies ? thats 240lbs !
Shit this video is old
I've seen alot of comments about not being 50000watts (50kw) that is actually true, but 48v times 1000amps is 48000watts (48kw) which the actually wattage is 48000 watts, but that usualy round to about 50000watts (50kw) so their not lieing. also seen comments about the battery cant handle the 1000amps. also not true a few samsung INR18650-30Q batterys can handle a 20amp constant load so it would only need to be about 50 cells to get a constant 1000amp output, but this isnt some 18650 batterys its car batterys, but it could still handle that ammount of current depending on what type/brand car battery and even tho it still can handle it for a few minutes without overheating. haters dont take it too the comments when you guys dont know what your talking about

what if u fuckin electrocute yourself. oh dont worry mate you only get 1 battery at a time, only it gets all 8.
All the retards don't realise that these batteries are lipos not help gelcell or deep cycle lead acid batteries . They have a great output. The same batteries tesla uses but his model s puts out 100kwh or 100000 watts lol
50.000watts=67hp there is no way this thing has 67hp
It doesn't necessarily mean that he's using 50kw . You would have to install an amp meter to find that out .
can someone link me what kind of motors that were used
van Yama try these ua-cam.com/video/zvsis67Ne4w/v-deo.html
This was actually hilarious. well done sir
Elo bob Dwarka Taken down for sexual content...I can only imagine LOL
P=IxE (P= watts, I = Amps, E= voltage) 48x1000 = 48000 watts.
yeah and li-ion 3.7V cell starting from 4.2V voltage, so if 3.7~48V than initial voltage 4.2~54.5V with 1000A 54500Wts :-p
R.I.P Tires
you're gonna end up burning that thing up by just doing cookies the whole time. it's really bad on the CVT. you will burn through belts and it's also not good for the controller. it will make it get really hot because of how much load you're putting on it. Pretty sweet kart other than that. looks like it was done right. although there has to be a better alternative to running 8 really big, heavy batteries. if you build a protective compartment on each side where the batteries currently sitting that was about half as tall as the height of the batteries currently, then ran 8, 6S 20,000mah LIPO batteries, running in two sets of series then ran the two sets parallel, you would end up with 44 volts at 80,000mah, but it would only weigh 40 pounds total! for all 8 of them! the batteries cost 150$ each but are rechargeable so they would last a long time. you would just have to invest in a capable lipo charger but think of the performance increase by cutting so much weight!! such a cool little project. big potential there.
what is Motor name???
Haha, I like the background convo at the end. Nice cart. I want one
It's not 50,000 watt, it's 50,000 where
what?
Why not built an arena with induction coils and remove the batteries for good?
I serviced and cleaned the cooling towers on the 3rd floor roof for these servers.. Pretty impressive to think of all the gear in One Wilshire.. And yes security is good. Can't enter the building without VALID identification. Then they take a digital photograph of you then create a swipe card for you.So anywhere you go in that building they have a record of who was where when. THATS A POWERFUL BUILDING.
your comment is fascinating! not being sarcastic at all, but would seriously appreciate your sharing the differences between "servicing" and "cleaning" those towers. you were up there!!!
Would've expected more even 9 years ago lol.
unplugging any cord will not go unoticed, is false. Each panel is owned by a different vendor, not all circuits are monitored, and not all circuits are even active, or live. Some circuits are backup and not in service. Some circuits are dark and the jumper just hasnt been decommisioned yet. So learn something about it before you make silly little statements like that.
50000 watts? You need a new calculator...
thats what i reckon too.
48x1000 is 48000 watts or 48kw would usualy round up to 50kw or 50000 watts? think you need a new calculator

50.000 Watt?! How much cents und seconds you pay for it?
cameras and pictures are NOT allowed in Meet Me Rooms. your information has been forwarded to the proper authorities.

One question how would you get his “information”
About 9600 watts for 1 hour
Why is everyone saying it can't be 50k watts? I can see it pushing 1k amps constant with the right batteries. Anyway I bet it would fly with traction.
A few 18650 batterys can pull out 20 amps constant like the samsung INR18650-30Q so you only need about 50 to constantly get 1000amps and 48x1000 is 48000 watts everyone just dosent know electronics
Definitely not 50,000 watts.
it running at 50kw
mantas meskis car batteries dont output 50k watts dummy
looks like shockwave died and was recycled in dere.
Mmm it's obviously not running at 50,000 watts. Car batteries can put out a high number of amps to get the starter going. The deep cycle batteries used on the kart can only push out 100 amp each for a MAXIMUM of 5 seconds. So the maximum he could pull out of these batteries would be 800 amps and that would only be for 5 seconds before the batteries begin to fail. I've seen 3,000 watt electric karts drift exactly the same as this. It's cool but the numbers are obviously way off.
Gadget Addict ahh, no, 50,000 is wattage of the motor, the amperage rating is not the "maximum" output. It is the capacity, you are thinking of voltage, you cannot pull more voltage than the battery puts out. You can pull a higher amperage out of a battery than its amperage rating, but pulling out alot of amps from a battery will deplete it faster and create alot of heat. You may say im full of shit, but look at the lexus ct200h, it has a 80 hp motor electric motor that runs on a 1-2 amp 100-200 volt battery, of course it only runs for a mile in ev mode, but the battery is designed not to go below 80% because the car is a hybrid electric.
Owiko7 You're getting confused between the amp hour rating of the battery and amps. Voltage multiplied by amperage = watts. Deep cycle batteries can only push out so many amps.
Gadget Addict Sigh* No. I already know that, batteries can push out more amps than they hold, you still think it's like volts, Amp hours is how many ours the battery last, Amp hour is just a measurement of how many amps it can give out in an hour , like kilo-meters an hour or miles per hour, or gallons per minute. you can pull out more amps than the battery is rated for, amp hours has very little to do with this. There is no magical bottle neck like you speak of, except for how long it lasts before it's dead. a car starter motor could pull 500 amps from the 100 amp battery, and besides, how do you know the batteries are deep cycle car betteries? unless they say that.
Owiko7 If you connect a 1amp load to your 100AH battery, it will run for 100 hours. If you connect a 10 amp load it would run for 10 hours. SImple and we both understand that. Car batteries are designed to handle a huge number of amps for a short period of time to crank the engine; deep cycle batteries are not designed to handle that. Both batteries have very specific maximum amp draw ratings and they can only be managed for a very short period of time. Check the specs on your batteries and you'll understand better :)
Gadget Addict But how do you know that it is a deep cycle battery?
And where is this 50kw?
thats what im thinking 50kw motor in a cart no a hope in hell. a 50kw motor is huge
nice build!
Very high power, but not a good demo: ok for drifting, but what is the behavior in a track?
EPIC !!!
1000 amp ?????? no 100amp yes
You think a hundred amps will do that? You must be a mechanical engineer.
RyeGuy8 lol, he must be a custodian
Rob M Have a look at the title. 50KW kart, so 48x1000 would seem great for a estimation.
You can clearly see that beast has way more than 100 amps. my drift RC car has a around 60 Amps cont. at 7.4 to 11.1V and probably around 80 A burst for a few seconds. I know this car is 48V way more than my little rc car, but still that beast has tons of traction and weight (in comparison to my RC car for example) and goes so damn fast. ps: That thing packs quite a few power. (at least the 50cc 2 stroke karts from here can't do that and they go around 40 mph max). This seem to be around a 125cc 2 stroke kart (but I'm not sure as I'm not an expert on those things).
@@ChazmicSupanova 4 batteries per side all in series 96VDC X 520 Amp =50,000 watts divide by 746 = 67 HP
I can almost smell the burning rubber. How much did that one ride cost you in tire wear?
This video was part of the inspiration for us to make our last two electric go-karts! Thanks. Check out our recent video with the AC induction motor racing kart.
Actually, security is very tight. Maybe you could explain 'why' you think it is not and then I will tell you what you may be missing. They have cameras everywhere, so you are not going to get away with much. Every aspect of operations are monitored extremely closely, so even unplugging a cord somewhere is not going to go unnoticed.
That thing can take some abuse! NO wonder the motor got hot.
Miss drifting that thing on breaks.

yes, can go in a straight line at around 60mph.
