i think for this you could use freedoom instead its a cool foss clone of doom/doom 2, you can play standalone, its mod compatible and if you make a freedoom map it will work when someone launches with doom 2
I forgor about Freedoom :p
Is it easier than using TrenchBroom with QODOT?
