@tasharra.thairapysalon Does the shampoo need to be sulfate free? I'm asking because my stylist told me I can only use the Basics shampoo but she didn't give me any to take home. I would like to have something at home in case I needed to wash my hair. I go to the salon monthly.

Basic is no longer in business so that would be a problem

Yes. But eventually even that will wear off and you will be completely back to your natural texture. It just depends on how often you shampoo and what kind of shampoo you use. It does if you more manageable hair and keeps your hair from reverting back as fast when pressed

It’s not a relaxer so yes. When you shampoo your natural curls are back with less frizz and more manageability. Which makes it easier to blow dry and press back out. Once pressed out the product keeps the hair from reverting back as fast. You only apply the product every 3 months when cared for with the right products in between treatments

I don't want chemicals in my hair but at same time flat ironing my hair will have it puff up with any humidity. Hi! I depends on the number of shampoos. The products coats the hair so eventually it will wear off. Also you can not use clarifying shampoo or it will strip it

I would use the product for your new growth. And continue to do that as your relaxed hair grows out
