My follow up comment is actually why do you dislike “LGBTQIA”? Do you not like the term queer? Or intersex? Or asexual? I know asexual and even queer is a hot debate but intersex people should definitely be included in the community , I personally feel it falls under the trans umbrella but I digress. Intersex infants often are forced to undergo deadly procedures and surgeries at birth to make their genitals ‘normal’, forcing hormone therapy onto them while they’re young, however they deserve their choice when they’re old enough to know the precautions with it. Which is why they need their rights backed by a community that’s also shunned for being “born in the wrong body”.

I don’t want to assume you’re talking about nonbinary people but that’s the vibes, I haven’t seen your original post but it’s not on UA-cam. Do you possibly have a link to the post? I can sorta understand if you find “new identities” pedantic but also gender nonconformity isn’t by any means a new concept, and arguably is truer to older beliefs than “transgender” and especially older than transsexual. Trans however is an umbrella term that includes gender nonconforming roles as well as people who feel they still fit on the binary but have transitioned their sex or gender in literally any way. Whether people want to admit it or not, even masc lesbians and femmeboys are part of the trans umbrella as they are inherently gender noncomforming. Especially in these times where US States are outlawing drag AND the right to wear “opposite sex clothing”, which will affect those studs who agree with you. Again idk if that’s what it is but we as people will grow and examine these terms, most of them will probably end up under an umbrella term or even assigned as something other than queer inherently, as we see more heterosexual aromatic people, or men who insist on being called “straight” but find femininity attractive, Queer Identities/LGBTQ isn’t changing I think, sexuality/the human race is just growing with them times and as science evolves so does how we perceive society and each other. I hope I don’t sound like a dick, but I just hate that nonbinary people seem to get a bad end of the stick, I’m a transwoman personally, you could even say I follow the binary side of “woman” but I still just hate that it seems like conservative beliefs (which not blaming politics but look at this) are dividing our community that’s already made up of people who are minorities, why divide us further cus some of us want to be called she and some want to be called they.
