Hi, welcome to our BRAND NEW UA-cam channel. We are brothers who love taekwondo and have been practicing the Korean martial art from the age of 5. We hope that you like taekwondo as much as we do. Our ultimate goal is to be a part of Team Canada to compete in the Olympics Summer Games 2024 & 2028.
Furthermore, we want to get other kids to get involved in taekwondo as a way to promote health, camaraderie and self defence.

A disappointing sparring match for Alex at the 2024 Son’s Premier Taekwondo Championships
At the 2024 Som’s Premier Taekwondo Championships that took place on May 11, 2024 at the Save Max Sports Centre, Alexander took disappointing third place finish at sparring competition.
Alex’s opponent kept grabbing and holding onto him preventing Alex from countering. To make matters worse, the referee did not even attempt to break up and given a single ‘gamjong’ or penalty to the Dragon Taekwondo player.

yeah tkd is weird, WTF ( World Taekwondo Federation) taekwondo atleast. You cant punch in the face and in some cases you cant even kick to the face. However ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) allows punches and kicks to the face, but ITF taekwondo is an older style and is pretty much dead
@@xquesu9391 ITF definitely isn't dead. I'm from The Netherlands and there are lots of ITF organizations with many people, it's very active

Referees are all incompetent in this rigged match
Flying side kicks at 1" pine boards aren't realistic. If really want to impress somebody with a flying side kick do it against a 200 pound sandbag. Then see if you can even move it and not fall on your ass.
In my neighborhood, there are many many tkd black belts that still have to hold their parents hands when crossing the street after class. I see them every day. 🙄

So can I say that he got a bronze? Also, I am having my nationals in April and my category has Taeguk 6 to Shpijin. I am Dan 2 & weigh somewhere around 110 kgs and therefore my kick doesn't go 90 degrees. What are your comments/suggestions for me?
U should cut your weight
Thank you for your comment. In your case, it is lucky you got to know your Poomsae well ahead of time to which you can practice well in advance. My suggestion is that you keep on practicing until you know them patterns inside out. High kicks are desired but not not a must just do your best
