I have no sound, can you substitute something for either bouillon?
What a cute video!! Thank you for sharing. I’ve got cookies baking in the oven right now for my Australian Shepherd. ❤️
I'm 56 and was looking for a chicken casserole recipe with either cornbread or stuffing and every single one had that nasty canned soup now I knew it was going to be something like this with Rue being cooked in the beginning. That's the same way you start homemade enchilada sauce but you're adding in Blended chilies to that instead of the chicken in the milk. And I basically do the same thing for a pot pie I just use a cast iron skillet and the flat side of a plastic spatula. When I was learning I would use a square topped potato masher. Anyway thank you for the validation of God bless you I myself can't do any kind of canned soup either it just looks putrid
Does the bouillon have sodium? Is it for animals or humans?
💚
No wedding ring…..got to be her lucky boyfriend to have two delicious chicks in their home
Honey, do a close up.
Thankyou this is really good for dogs with dry skin helps my pitbull better then medicine.
Can I freeze them?
You can try, they might fall apart when you defrost them. 🤷🏻♀️
@@TNYogaChick thank you for replying , I plan on making these tomorrow !! Have a good evening
Are you not adding sodium to the treats when you’re adding the bouillon? I would prefer not to add sodium do they have a sodium free bullion a person can use?
Thanks for sharing. I want to make them soon. ❤
lOVE YOUR FUR BABIES!!!!
I make a similar biscuit for my dog, but I use pureed pumpkin instead of honey. She loves them. Make sure there's no Xylitol ( birch sugar ) in your peanut butter, as it's toxic to dogs.
Aloha How long can you store these for? On counter
Awesome ❤🎉
Could these be pressed 1/4 inch thick in silicone dog bone mold and baked?
I've made these three times for my three little dogs and they love them! I have spoiled my dogs a bit so I added a little extra honey and half of the boullion to make sure they would eat them since they love sweets. The first time I made it I only made a half batch to see if they liked them. They were a little hesitant at first, but as soon as they took a bite they ate the whole cookie. Thank you for an awesome recipe that my dogs absolutely love!
I am so happy to hear this!
I used manukau honey because it’s not as sweet but 1000% better for them (and us), it’s more expensive but I’m baking for my dog & her is as important as mine so I spare no expense to keep her alive, healthy, happy & away from the vet as much as possible❣️
I bet some cut up apples would be good also
Awesome!!!
Oven temperature?
350 degrees. The full recipe is available here atlarastable.com/greek-turkey-meatballs-w-tzatziki-sauce/
Hey Lara, I should have been making treats all this time! Lazy & busy, but now retired I love 2 cook but never 2 much the desserts & treats....4 dogs 2!! hehehehehe! I have 2 Shih Tzus that R now 15.5 yrs. old! Started making food 4 them as the transition 2 retirement, divorce, and China Flu didn't help! Anyway, will update U on how they make out! Thx. 4 sharing!
Please do! Our Shih Tzu’s are 14 1/2 & 11 1/2.
O
The captions say 1/2 cup & Lara is saying 1/3 cup for each ingredient. Which is correct? Also, it should 100% natural peanut butter with no additives. Very harmful for dogs. The ingredients should only be peanuts.
I used to make this all of the time when my kids were growing up. I was telling friends about it a few days ago & I got all kinds freaky looks. 🤣 so I shared this video with them to show them thay there is another crazy lady out there baking chicken in the oven. 🤣
Yep, that’s me! The other crazy lady 😂😂
Audio says 1/3 cup honey and broth mix; subtitles show 1/2 cup of each. Which is it? Looked more like 1/2 cup that you used.
It is 1/3 cup. Hope your fur friend enjoys the treats ❤️
I love that fat separator contraption I'll have to try this method next time!
Thanks! I bought it for Thanksgiving and find that I use it all the time. Chuck Roast is flavorful but so fatty
Cute fur babies. I used to have a Shih Tzu.🐶
Thank you
What about the sodium in that chicken base?
I use the reduced sodium. And my girls blood work is perfect. Consult your vet if you have concerns
Thank you
Chicken bouillon has salt! Dogs cant have salt!
That bag adds lots of flavor too. Not just keeps the juice juicy
Thanks will make that this week for my baby puppy girl... Your kitchen and puppies are ❤️
Thank you
@@TNYogaChick my baby puppy girl loves these...
@@Dandeb19 I’m so glad!
Better than bouillon has 680mg of sodium! Is this much sodium good for dogs? I tasted the tiniest amount and my taste buds went on high alert!
Will use eggs instead of bullion next time. Too salty even for dogs.
If you don't have a funnel, roll up a piece of paper. You can size the exit hole as you see fit.
Thank you!!
Thank you for this recipe. I wanted to try the Mississippi pot roast but don’t want to use the fake seasoning packets. This is much better.
You are so welcome! I try and mix my own seasonings to avoid packets too! I have other seasonings recipes on my website that might help too!
💜🐶🐶
U say on the video a 1/3 cup But the text says 1/2 cup Which is it???
Make certain the peanut butter you use does NOT have Xylitol in it, Xylitol is Bad for dogs.
I’ve never seen peanut butter with Xylitol
@@TNYogaChick From what I understand some do have it in them, always best check the labels to be certain as Xylitol is never good for dogs (this goes for everything else we eat as well)
@@Rink03 I read every label before I even consider eating it or buying it. This is something I have promoted for years. I actually just made a Tiktok about it. (Husband bought some cereal that had a questionable label)
@@TNYogaChick Thats good, I do the same since I'm sensitive to artificial flavors and surgars (tummy wont deal with em esp Aspartame)
can you do an update video to that main tree you cut? :)
Do you have a recommendation for a broth that is similar to Better Than Boullion. There are a lot of additives in Better Than Boullion that are not good for dogs.
You could use Kettle & Fire bone broth. It is super healthy for humans & dogs. I use Organic Reduced Sodium Better than Bullion. Reading the ingredient label all I see is Maltodextrin. It is derived from plants much like Stevia.
@@TNYogaChick Dr. Berg says Maltodextrin is one of the worst things we can eat.
@@susansavard3531 We all have to choose what we feel is best for ourselves. And in life, everything in moderation. I use Better Than Bullion in my own cooking in my kitchen. And I also use it in this recipe for my dogs. They are now 14 1/2 & 11 1/2. I encourage you to substitute any broth you feel comfortable with. I know your fur baby will love them.
Great idea dear friend
You are so welcome
Thank you so much dear friend
Appreciate your recipe! I made a Mississippi pot roast with the butter and seasoning packets, while it was flavorful, I thought it was a little too salty and the butter was too much for me! Thought about trying without butter, now I’m going to try your recipe! I use the Montreal seasoning on all my beef dishes as well! Thank you! I’ve been trying to eat healthy and this seems like a good alternative to the original recipe!
I hope you enjoy it. I have recipes on my website to make your own seasonings. That way you can control the salt content. I have many new videos on Tiktok and Instagram if you are on those platforms. Filming in two different directions is twice work 🤪. Thanks for stopping by ☺️
Bouillon?!! That stuff is loaded with salt. I use unsalted bone broth for our doggie treats. Please research the sodium content which on the label indicates 700 mg per teaspoon! This also contains sugar, please be careful these things can kill a dog with pancreatitis …😔
How do you make your dog treats? My pups have very sensitive stomachs so I’d hate to give me a ton of salt.
Love the recipe its great but the only thing that I would suggest. Is you make sure the peanut butter has no added salt , sugar, & most of all no palm oil not good for your dogs or cats.
Thanks for the tips. I will check it out. We are always working to improve our health and choices over here at @atlarastable for my family & our pets! We like to approach life with a “when you know better, you do better” approach. 🥰
@@TNYogaChick only a few brands that are made out of just peanuts. I have used Whole Foods peanut butter. But since I was doing homemade I just made my own peanut butter in the food processor use unsalted roasted peanuts. It's all fun right have a good one.
@@tommyortega5833 we have a few local grocery stores that grind fresh nut butters without added sugars & salts. That would save me the mess 🤪
And no bouillon that’s toxic to dogs. Insane levels of sodium.
Just tried it but I had used my mixer the oatmeal On pulse and it worked out great The love these even more then others I've baked so Ty so much 😊
So glad to hear!
@@TNYogaChick they tour them up
Could I please ask could I use a silicone mold for these treats?
Try it! They have plenty of fat from the peanut butter. And they are sturdy enough to unmold. I would allow them to cool for 5 minutes or so first
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜
Hope your fur babies love these!
Awesome video
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas!
