I'm 56 and was looking for a chicken casserole recipe with either cornbread or stuffing and every single one had that nasty canned soup now I knew it was going to be something like this with Rue being cooked in the beginning. That's the same way you start homemade enchilada sauce but you're adding in Blended chilies to that instead of the chicken in the milk. And I basically do the same thing for a pot pie I just use a cast iron skillet and the flat side of a plastic spatula. When I was learning I would use a square topped potato masher. Anyway thank you for the validation of God bless you I myself can't do any kind of canned soup either it just looks putrid

I've made these three times for my three little dogs and they love them! I have spoiled my dogs a bit so I added a little extra honey and half of the boullion to make sure they would eat them since they love sweets. The first time I made it I only made a half batch to see if they liked them. They were a little hesitant at first, but as soon as they took a bite they ate the whole cookie. Thank you for an awesome recipe that my dogs absolutely love!
