I think he (Patrick Armstrong) was right to leave Britain afterwards. I couldn't have lived in a country whose judicial system did that to me
Wasn't Gerry cute when he was younger. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️❤♥️❤♥️❤♥️♥️❤
SO cute.

Why exactly just because I said Gerry was cute????????? Just my opinion but I reckon he was
Gilford ???
It's spelt Guildford.
They were 4 very beautiful looking people and such a travesty. They looked more like pop stars
Someone must know who was responsible. The people in those pubs did not blow themselves up. Why did people amongst the Irish communities not divulge who was responsible if this was a miscarriage of justice ? Instead of pleading their innocence why did they not state who was responsible ?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balcombe_Street_Gang It's hardly a mystery, it's just totally irrelevant given the Good Friday Agreement allowed these scumbags to walk the streets again.
Firstly, kidnapping people from the same community as the bombers until people in that community do the police's job and figure out who done the bombing and then tell the police is not a good tactic. And, unlike you arr suggesting, ordinary Irish people would not know about secretive IRA operations for obvious reasons. Secondly, when the IRA active service unit was finally captured in 1976, they were interviewed, and members gave full confessions for the Guildford and Woolwich bombings. Clearly proving these 4 were innocent. Thirdly, the police already knew full and well not one of those charged had any connection to the bombings whatsoever. They were caught lying, falsifying evidence, ignoring evidence, etc. Hope that cleared up the British injustice you were confused about 👍
Yes, the Balcombe street gang did it. They confessed to Alaistar Logan
The Balcombe street gang admitted full culpability. They submitted the details to Peter Imbert it is claimed
@@MMM-rf5gm Not confused at all. 'Secretive IRA operations'...blowing totally innocent civilians legs and arms off by cowardly planting bombs in pubs ? I repeat why did the 'Guildford Four' not name those responsible ? It was Paul Hill (take a look at the history of this 'innocent' man) who named three of the Guldford Four as being responsible. Why not blame him for the 'miscarrriage of justice' ?

That day outside the old Bailey. 💚☘️
😢Terrible
This aired in February 1993 - 30 years ago now and sadly BBC One Northern Ireland doesn't do any of these local entertainment talk shows anymore.
Who are the band? Im one of the kids in this video 😂
Memorable moment meeting Sting the gentleman as a young child.
Pray for the one who disliked that God would reveal Himself to that person. Here's a prayer of reconciliation with God. Jesus loves you all. Say: Lord Jesus, come into my heart today. Wash me with Your precious blood. Save my soul. You are the only One who can save my soul. You are my Redeemer, my Healer, my Lord, my Saviour. In Jesus' name, Amen! Whoever has said that prayer sincerely from the heart, I welcome them to the Family of God in the name of Jesus Christ. May all the Glory be to God. In Jesus' name, Amen, Amen and Amen!
Thanks for sharing. I was one of those kids meeting sting
When this was filmed ,Belfast was still very much a Protestant dominated city. So much has changed in the 30 years since.
I recognise the street when Lord Mayor John Carson entered the limousine, right in front of the city hall. And I am not originally from Northern Ireland anyway
1981
Looks a lovely lens.
Anderson on the Box was BBC Northern Ireland's attempt at competing with their arch rivals over on Ulster Television, the Kelly Show which had been on the air since 1989 and was very popular talk show on a Friday night at 10.40pm. Anderson on the Box I think aired at 9.30pm to try and compete with the Kelly show but not be on the same time as it.
This was broadcast on Pentecost (Whit Sunday) 7th June 1981 on BBC One. Even though the cathedral's foundation stone was laid in 1899, the cathedral was completed in phases around where the old church stood. Interruptions by the world wars and of course the troubles caused many delays. It was not until 1981, the whole cathedral fabric could be dedicated, and this Songs of Praise was broadcast to celebrate the event.
