I have a friend who's great at making his own props and is a HUGE Aliens fan. He built a few pulse rifles that were/are amazing (metal parts, the works)! A guy in Australia really, really wanted to buy one from him, and my friend warned him that Australia customs could impound and destroy it. The buyer insisted anyway so my friend sold it to him with the "you've been warned" and no refunds. He shipped it, and it was destroyed. The buyer knew the risks, and he lost. So sad as that pulse rifle was one of the finest I'd ever seen in person (saw it before he shipped it off to its doom...).

Can't wait for the goggles and Mr. DNA, I'm a HUGE JP/JW fan. I know you may be "done" with JP, but I wouldn't stop you making more JP/JW items. Oh... if you have a Universal license, how about the 1999's The Mummy! How 'bout a Book of the Dead (black), Book of Amon Ra (gold), and the "key" that unlocks them... Just a thought!

why do you only sell in the USA? no trademark rights outside the USA? I can only buy within the US, very detrimental to business. But there are resellers who do this for a profit

For me it was Cocoa Pepples and I wanted those darn Dinosaur Coins. That first set of six they did I had all of them (with multiples) except the darn Stegosaurus. I even cut out the picture of that missing coin off the back of the box. Years later... I FINALLY got one, thanks to eBay... AND... I did have a Speedy Buggy Lunchbox in the 1st and 2nd grade.

I'd say replicas don't hurt the value of an original prop... BUT... they can affect the value of older versions of that replica. If I create a great version of "PROP X" that's light years better in quality than Brand XYZ's "PROP X" - that older version's value could go down as there's a newer, better version now out there to purchase...

Biggest problem with video game prop is the massive options. I’d want the mass effect (BioWare) mattock, but others would want the avenger or a smaller pistol. Same for Destiny (bungie) - they probably have 200+ weapons - how do you pick from that?

As much as I love Star Wars and Star Trek... it has to be the Colonial Marines Pulse Rifle from Aliens... drop the mic.

Late to the game on this one. That being said, I have both you cane and the Chronicle versions. BUT... I would LOVE to see Lockwood's cane from Fallen Kingdom as a companion piece to this one!

I appreciate all you all do - I had a Barbasol Can and Night Vision Goggles on order with Chronicle back in the day thru Sideshow. And they went under. But luckily, I did get my money back. I do have their Hammond Cane (and yours too), their velociraptor eggs, and the JPIII resonating chamber. Nice stuff, but they still went under. So best of luck, and hope you all make great stuff for a long, long, LONG time! :o)

I've had to develop a bunch of skills for my prop making habit since I had a penchant for somewhat more obscure props. That and the few I could find were not as well done as I wanted, or at a price I could justify. How about working Puzzle gun from Judge Dredd (not the movie magic drawer/badge). I've tried, but I just not an engineer, I could make a static one, but a articulated one would be cool.

If you are taking suggestions for obscure things I would buy. War Rocket AJAX from Flash Gordon (1980). The Atreides Ornithopter from DUNE (1984) and the Fighter Robot Paul fights in Dune (1984). Maybe Ming’s Ring from Flash Gordon (1980). Klytus’s GoldenMask from Flash Gordon. A high end Police Spinner from Bladerunner. A WGON Helicopter prop replica from Dawn of the Dead (1978). The rodent the Harkonnens crush to drink the bodily fluids from Dune (1984). Any space ship from Dune.

I'm surprised you didn't plug the water fill hole on the grip ... still, that's a nice repaint ... I have one of these (not this Special Edition, from a toy distributor in Japan but the same thing) that I still need to repaint myself...
