What in the leaf spring block you have going on here boy. Holy sheep shit
Nice work bro. I would’ve like to see the rocker panel/floor pan work haha. I just ordered parts from brothers and am about to tackle rockers and cab corners, I’m watching every video I can on how to do it. But I understand, getting stuff done comes first
I’m not a wielder so everything you showed looked great to me. I’ve heard it said, if you can’t wield good, wield a lot. Good luck with your channel!
If new U-joints are stiff after installation, smack each side of the yoke with the hammer, and it will loosen up.
Just did this on my 81 turbo squarebody I'm just getting on the road.
Good vid man love it
I’d definitely love to see more on the build for sure!!! I definitely hope that you put out some more videos soon!!?? I do have a couple good fenders if you are interested in?? Let me no!! It’s definitely looking really good from the way that you got the truck originally!! Remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!
Awesome video buddy!! I subscribed to the channel and I hope to see plenty more videos!!!
Thanks for the sub!
Usually trannys take around 12 quarts dry if I remember Wright and then just add how many ever your extra deep tranny pan is!! I happen to see that you put an extra deep pan on!!!
I absolutely love straight pipes!! I have several different trucks that I have run straight pipes on!!! Yes they are loud but I definitely love the sounds!!!!
Let me say something about chrome covers!! Just a heads up!! I had a buddy that had a really nice lifted square body blazer!! It was like a 1985 or 1987 it was super nice and rust free!! When he baught it he was told that the intire running gear had been all redone!! Witch it definitely was!! But it had a really nice polished chrome diff cover on it and it wasn’t leaking at the time but one day he was going down the highway and it ended up blowing out the gasket because nothing likes to stick to a nice looking chrome cover!! Eventually it will leak and when it blew out while going down the highway and lost all the rear differential great oil well the rear end ended up locking up on him and threw him in the ditch causing it to roll 3 to 4 times!!! Destroyed the blazer and everything!!! He was so pissed that he didn’t get the cover changed like I had told him to do before something bad happened!!! Every time I seen him I would tell him you need to get a different rear end cover!! He just kept saying well it’s not leaking!! When I start to see it seaping I’ll change it!!! Well I always say chrome definitely won’t get you home!!! The same thing can go for a tranny chrome pan!! It can look like it’s all sealed up and not dripping or leaking the smooth edges will let the gaskets slid around and blow out under pressure!!! I will never put any chrome on any of my vehicles!! Just giving you a heads up!!!! Awesome video buddy and remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!! Oh what state do you live in?? I have a couple nice front fenders that I’d sell you if interested in??
Wow never thought about chrome parts not sealing but it makes sense. And that sucks about your buddy's blazer hope he was alright and I live in ohio but I think I'm gonna wait till I do a paint job to get better fenders, thanks for the offer! That pan was around 30 bucks so if I need to get a new one I will I'm probably gonna keep a pretty close eye on the trans level anyway because it leaks in a few other places as well
Oh one other thing on your exhaust gasket always think witch way the flow is going!! I would put your exhaust gasket with the rounded part towards the front of the truck!! That way the exhaust gasses will flow nicely if you was to flip around the other way the gasses would catch the lip!! Hopefully that makes since to you???
Great point!
Hey buddy I have a couple good fenders for the 1981-1986 Chevy/gmc trucks that I would sell you if you are interested?? I’m not sure what state you live in but I’m in southern Iowa!! Let me no if interested in them!! I have 5 or 6 square body trucks that are all 1TONS and 4x4!!! Big square body guy and 1967-1972 trucks fan!!! Awesome video buddy and it’s definitely nice to see another square body getting restored again!!!
Hey man, are you going to post more? Looks like it’s been a couple months since your last post. Hope everything is well with you. Don’t get discouraged if you feel like you’re off to a slow start. Growing a channel takes time.
Everything is fine I was using my phone to film and my storage got full just from two videos and I was like yeah this isn't going to work so I lost interest doing videos. But I just bought a gopro and now I'm going to try it again thanks for the encouragement I will start posting regularly once a week hopefully, possible twice a week.
