Yeah I’m hoping for better days to come with Topps. Panini is definitely leaving on a bad note. Topps has issues too but I’m hopeful they will be significantly better than Panini

@@synergycards Yeah Topps screwed the goose on Topps Chrome Update I had several issues with surface damage on some cards but the ones I sent in to grade got 10s except one, I can't even send in the Prizm it's so trash.

Yeah Topps chrome update this year has a fair amount of clean stuff from my experience, but I have had some with dents and major scratches. But yeah overall much much better than Prizm

Great question! I personally don’t use SGC, but depending on the card it can make sense. PSA definitely can take awhile but most orders throughout the year take about 1.5 months. If you want to use SGC I would just say make sure the resell value is there for every card you submit. If it is, go for it!

Yeah almost all chrome cards have some these days it seems. I’ve never had any issues gemming cards like that

Yeah I agree, I’ve been more lenient with sending this set in than usual, and I’m still rejecting a lot of the cards because of multiple issues.

Good question, I’m not sure how close the fires have gotten to PSA. I would imagine psa would tweet or send out an update if it was a major concern of theirs

Yeah that’s something I didn’t really touch on. I’m sure that’s part of it, but I’m also not surprised about the low gem rates based on what I’ve seen from my purchases.

Yeah that might be the case. You bring up a good point. If 9’s are the only thing on the market, people will probably prefer those to psa 10’s of lower end sets.

That’s a good point. I’m not sure how strict they’ll be on grading centering for this set particularly. It seems like they’ve been a little more strict on center in overall lately so we’ll see.

Yeah it’s absolutely brutal. So much potential with this set and all wasted due to poor quality control. I guess that’s what happens when they mass overprint everything

I’ve been wondering about taxes now with eBay new 600$ threshold…am I going to need to pay taxes on all the money I make on eBay? Even though I spent alot of money on the cards to make the money?

They are totally ungradable unfortunately :( I didn't buy too many this year and that was a good move because a 21% gemrate is just brutal. So disappointing because this was a great QB class. But the Flashback inserts are at 45% gem rate so I have bought some of those. Some of the inserts are decent like Fireworks and Emergent, although Emergent has centering issues which are made obvious by the card design.

@@ElliotP530 I pulled 2 J Daniels out of 24 pack retail box, it was green ice prizmatic and emergent and they were so bad off center it kind of messed with your eyes looking at them, it was like 80/20 foreal on both cards made me sick man. Looks like Panini would have went over the top this year being their last year and gave us amazing products with lots of hits, kind of a thank you to everyone for buying their product over the years, but instead Panini being the pieces of s... they are put out terrible miscut cards barely any hits and price gouge us to death.Get the hell out of here with your garbage cards and don't let the door hit you in the a.. Panini

From the stuff I’ve actually received, there are lots of surface dimples and corner whitening on the back 2 corners. Most are off center as well so really have to look at photos before buying.

@ good to know. Wish Panini could atleast print some clean surfaces. Gonna make it tough on this set with how competitive grading is now

So there will be 2 eBay importers: one for sales and one for purchases. The sales importer is finished and live, and the purchase importer will be done soon. The sales importer takes in a csv (easily downloaded from eBay - there are instructions on the importer page) and loads in each sale from that csv. All the relevant info is imported and then you can make edits as needed (for example if you have some sales that aren’t cards that you want to exclude). In this video I show kinda how it’s used, I just skipped the portion where I selected the csv file from my computer so I didn’t show any personal info. Let me know if you have any more questions, I’m happy to answer any. I’m also planning to make a separate video just showing how to use the sales importer.

Yes sir. Last order I received took almost 3 months. Have a few orders in that are going nowhere right now.

I can tell psa is changing up when the scan orders. Mine sit in research and ID as well as arrived for a long time then quickly move through grading and assembly.

But overall I can tell the major delay at psa. Hope the can fix this issue soon!

Yeah I hope so too. I think they will be able to catch up decently quickly.

With the sniping method it doesn’t really matter how the listings are sorted. But good point, next time I’ll remember to do that live so it’s easier to watch/understand

@ I would say it still matters with sniping. A card you put a snipe in with 4 days left may be over your price by 1 hour left. Wasted time

I just sell them as-is. If they sit around for awhile I consign them

I assume you’re asking about centering here? Lots of times you can use the text on the card to determine centering if there are no borders. Feel free to send me examples on ig though if you want

@ yes exactly, I meant on the centering! What if the design of the card slants the text on purpose or even the text is supposed to be more or less on one side on purpose. How do grading companies assess centering then ? Thanks for your help ! 🙏

It’s a hard lesson to learn for most people, myself included.

If you grade the right cards and know how to inspect them it’s very likely you’ll turn a good profit.
