Thanks heaps mate😊🤙
BRO imagine if you and your wife were employed by tourism NZ👍👍everything so informative , spectacular views well done Guys really enjoyed 👍👍
@user-ov6gm9to3l Thanks heaps bro really appreciate that👊! Maybe one day we'll get picked up by someone. Till then just grinding and doing what we love.😎
Happy New Year guys. Thanks so much for the video. I am in this area in early April and Truman and the cavern are on my list so was good to see them here. I am going to add the kayak to my list for sure. Take care. 🫶😊
@helendrysdale6339 Happy New Year to you too😊🎉 You're more than welcome. You'll absolutely love it all especially the kayaking. Best experience ever, you'll have to let us know how it goes. 😊
Dope video guys🙌
@saintsboxingfitness9357 Thanks bro!😊🤙
Thanks guys, did this in October, stunning!
@@geraintroberts565 How good!🔥 Glad you enjoyed it😊
Thankyou so much for sharing this video. I love all your videos especially when you use the drone to see areas most people can’t see. I’m in a wheelchair and have no chance of seeing these beautiful places so I really appreciate your efforts. Keep posting ❤
@ClaireDonachie-d3h Thanks heaps for that feedback we really appreciate it❤️ We'll be sure to keep them coming so you can experience these places with us😊 LOTS planned for next year😎
Wow😳
Interesting place to explore, thanks for sharing and greetings from Niagara Falls 👋👋👋👋
Thank you😊 Wow Niagara Falls! How awesome.
Lovely video and stunning scenery and thank you so much !
Video of all time. I have a question: have you applied for permission to fly a drone? It's not criticism, just curiosity.
Hey mate, nah we haven't applied for permission, heard they're nearly impossible to get granted. Would bring out some killer content if we were allowed😎 Some places you don't need permission though, which helps I guess🤣
@@TheNZBrits Thank you for your quick response. I also have the experience that it is not easy to get permission to fly a drone in New Zealand and certainly not in the National Parks.
❤
Please don’t encourage people to walk on the Lake. There’s been a few broken bones this year from people doing this. It wastes a lot of resources getting people to Timaru hospital. We were watching that day from high above on the ridge shaking our heads.
@paulred158 As we said in the video, we don't advise it. We were there, the Ice was super thick and we had fun with everyone else😊 accidents will happen and you're 100% right about the wastage of resources, but people will be people.
The mines and history go back way longer than what they tell you.
@@michaelmacdonald3408 Sweet👍
Read all the indoctrinated bullshit on the signs you will get educated.
@michaelmacdonald3408 Hope you're all good mate. 🤣🤣
Get your dates right it is a lot older than you think.

Well done guys :)
@@HoriandRangisAdventures Thanks heaps guys😊🤙
Thank you for showing this place. I drove straight past it in 2022. Will definitely call in next year when I come back on holidays.
No worries at all, was certainly an incredible place to wander around and explore. You'll love it!😊
Good stuff Britz keep it up just subscribed :)
@@HoriandRangisAdventures Thanks guys🙏
@@TheNZBrits u r welcome 😝😝😝
Hi guys, really enjoyed the video, would love to have been there too, especially for the bacon sandwiches. Keep the videos coming. I am subscribed.
Awesome! Thanks heaps mate, appreciate it. 😎🤙
really enjoyed this video! :)
@@CJ_Moore Cheers boss😊🙏
It's a wonderful video with good commentary. Good camera angles. What time of the day was the hike done ? Are snow chains required to get to the car park ?
Thanks heaps, we appreciate that😊👌 We started the walk at 10am (ish) and finished back to the car at 1230. Nah there's no need for snow chains. Just take your time and you'll be fine. Mainly just look out for any black ice, they usually have signs up when black ice is present. We went down when the weather was -9 and we still didn't see any ice.
@@TheNZBrits thanks
Thanks guy's for tips, planning to do this in October!
@@geraintroberts565 No worries at all😊 Hope you have an amazing time. Let us know how you find it🤙
Awesome stuff! Looks chilly 🏔️
It sure was🥶 Good fun though.
Great vid. Was there in September 2022 and it was amazing then but even more amazing in Winter.
Thanks mate😊 Yeah winter is an absolutely beautiful time to visit that's for sure. Glad you got to at least experience and enjoy it in September🙏
@@TheNZBrits thanks. I even seen an avalanche on my back which was pretty cool too.
@helendrysdale6339 That's epic! We were unlucky to not see one this time.
Who named that place and why?
Hooker Valley and Hooker Glacier were named by Sir Julius von Haast (Canterbury provincial geologist in the 1860s) after William Jackson Hooker, an English Botanist. Return the way you came. Hooker Valley Track is the most popular short walk in Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. Credit: Nelsontrails.co.nz
can you share exact location, having trouble finding it
@rwilletts67 If you google search fantail falls and you're coming from wanaka end of Haast Pass. The entrance to the Chasm is exactly 2 minutes from fantail falls. You'll notice a small river with a bridge named "Wilson creek". Just pull over in one of the laybys and walk into the groge via the river.
The Onsens are on my list to do next year
That's awesome😊 You'll love them.
Surprised you didn’t see more. I used to spot them at lunchtime when shearing there.
Yeah bro we were just as surprised. Everytime we go there it's a shooting fest🤣 This time we think they were at higher altitudes, and unfortunately all the roads up were mud baths so couldn't even get the ute up there.🤦
@@TheNZBrits I feel like fallow do just seem to disappear sometimes too. At least you got a couple.
🤣 100% bro.
fierce
How good 🔥
great video, but that wasn't torrential rain there. That was just an average rainy afternoon. Torrential is where you don't ever stand there with your coats undone and te roads themselves become rivers
That's a fair comment, felt torrential though.
No sound?
Hey mate, there is definitely sound on the video. Not sure why it isn't working on your end.🤷♂️
Sorry you missed out on your cruise but I think you were very kind with your comments about the boat company. It seems they may have a staff problem? And English people complaining about rainfall? Lol! I hope the rest of your stay is more memorable. (From a Pom who has lived here since 1974.)
As Lauren said it's not a big deal because we can come back, just a shame for those who can't. We asked if they had staffing issues and they said no. Who's complaining about the rainfall? Lol🤔 The rain was epic and exactly what we were after.👌
I love this country kiwi
GO ahed brother
Hey watched your episode of the whiskey falls, wondering where u got your waterproof gaiters from? All I can find are waterproof socks? Any clues? And keep posting very enjoyable. fellow Brit in NZ - Christchurch!!
Hey boss, I actually got these socks when I was in the military. These ones are the standard issue pairs. However I've been told you can buy something similar from hunting and fishing. If you punch in 'Goretex socks' into google, they're bound to pop up. 🤙
Awesome video, hope to see more, from a kiwi in welly
Cheers bud🤙 In Milford and Queenstown atm, so more is definitely on its way😎
Hlw, very beautiful videos 😊❤
Thank you very much

Great video. Even better bloopers.
The multiple attempts at filming the intro is too relatable 😂
🤣🤣 Got home and thought that would be hilarious! Plus relatable, so glad that fit the bill😎
@@TheNZBrits I have an outtakes section of my last video where I literally did the same thing so don’t worry you’re not alone haha 🤷♂️😂
