I'm a silver player (who barely plays ranked) with ~2000 total hours in league and i have recently decided to main jungle, partially because none of my other friends like playing jgl, and also my favorite champs are in jungle (zac and my beloved shaco). i really liked your explanation here, and will be subbing! i'll definitely check your other videos out too, i'm looking for content creators that play jungle in general since i really need to expand my champ pool 😅

I forget exactly how they explained it to me but some dude who was coaching me said smth like: "Gold has two values, the number value and the real value - there's the amount of gold you get and there's the value you actually get out of it, and that real value changes depending on the game, champion and game-state.", Based off of what I've seen from Chinese junglers, I believe they have a very strong understanding of this concept. I've also noticed they're very comfortable trading gold value for intangible value compared to other regions. Obviously they know "losing" gold on Nidalee doesn't feel the same as losing gold on Karthus, the value Karthus gets from each individual gold is higher than what Nidalee gets... it's not that other regions don't understand this concept, its just the sheer level of aggression they are comfortable with playing with that shocks me.

i think broxah is kinda right in that farming is usually just rewarded way more. Think about agurin who hit Rank 1 last season in KR, as he is a very farm oriented player. Of course he is also cracked, but he also understands that when not farming you are actively losing gold as long as you dont make a good play. Broxah obviously dumbs it down a lot, as you cant "just" farm and have to find the fine line between interacting with the map, but overall its kind of true. If you interrupt your camps in jgl to gank and it goes bad, you just gave the enemy jungle a level and gold advantage which could lead to a lost fight. Its a race of resource.

Do you think Chinese junglers would be able to stomp early games with how passive NA/EUW laners play? I prefer playing early game junglers who mostly gank and sometimes I struggle with how cancer some people play especially if your team doesn’t see the vision (I’m only plat so that’s to be expected)

In general, most people consider codex a very weak component since its nerf. As you said, diana scales hard from AP. Why would you put hecarim shyv and noc on dont pick. They are all extremely good at carrying games. I know they arent not the best in really high mmr but below chall they are all pretty good solo carries.
