Fans, should not play Les & John against each other. That both no longer perform together, is a pity, but their thing. I am glad that both are still playing today. Both are excellent songwriters & are in my eyes one of the best full-blooded musicians of our time. From 1966 until today. - What an achievement! RESPECT!!! 👍💚. 🐯

I'm ready for the haters - but I don't know why they've reworked it this way. Change for change's sake isn't always the best way. IMHO - though I accept creative licence is there for the creators - as a listener and true BJH fan, I wish they'd revert to the original format. The La la's just lead in to an epic orchestration that set the hairs on end... for me. Without them, it sounds like an whimper and an apology. I love this song so much. The original arrangement, for me, was so many times more powerful and.. EPIC!

BEAUTIFUL! I've been playing this song on my guitar for years. I've never gotten to play with my own string section though. That sounds so GOOD! I always find it interesting that Simon & Garfunkel get credit for this song when it actually is so old that it has been in the public domain for several centuries, I'm sure.
