Hah, well now, I, on the other hand, never had any issues with human revolution. Well, computer hardware have many variables, so it's not a simple issue. I'll probably keep at it for a while longer and see if the stability improves further in or the if crashes can be mitigated. Because the game itself seems solid aside from this crashing issue.

It has never crashed at launch for me either, it has however crashed several times when entering or exiting out of a cutscene, as well as the when entering the gun range specifically, I will however likely update the video with a notification and comment further on depending on how it develops as I progress further into the game.

That is very true, there are games with more actions and inputs than The Outer Worlds that have made do with the restrictions of a controller. And speaking of second game, a new game does indeed seems to be underway. So we may well get a second entry relatively soon. (given it's not cancelled that is, you never know with today's game industry)

That's interesting, I'd have two questions if you'd care for that. One, do you think that you wouldn't have done this if the heal and consumables were separated/do you believe it likely if you in that case wouldn't have bothered with consumables? And two, if there was two ways to use the inhaler, do you think you'd just use it the standard way each time anyways for the sake of convenience and simplicity or alternate as not to waste consumables when you're already affected by them?

@dexterdextrow6035 For the first question I remember games like Fallout New Vegas (survival) and Skyrim I would not care to use buffs unless an encounter either scares me or I keep losing to a difficult fight. Except for Fallout 4(survival,) because of how limited the inventory is and how overpowered some foods are I'd regularly use food like Grilled Ragstag for 125hp and 25 extra carrying capacity. For the second question I believe I already answered it because I prefer "Premium Heals" since adreino were the only Stimpack/medkit item I had ease of access to, adding buffs to the inhaler kind of made sense... I did feel bad a few times but only because I was afraid of running out of buff items. Which only happened once. But in the end I would not care or reach for two separate heal keys for buffs and heals separately. Also the inhaler could be fixed by "Hold Heal Key for buffs" and "Tap Heal Key for adreno..." It's just developer oversight to why this is frustrating...

@@Covolsky Thanks for the input. And yes, you're a absolutely right, if desired the heal button could certainly be configured for a hold/press action, that would have been a easy solution even when limited to the input options of a controller. Good point.

That's a good point I hadn't considered. Bundling mechanics, especially when done with a ubiquitous one, such as healing, is likely to increase the use probability and frequency of the one that's likely to be more selectively engaged in depending on player and playstyle. When it comes to far cry, and really just Ubisoft in general, they've found a format and formula that works for their games and tend to sell well. You will therefore see rather little variance in most of their series, and if you are getting a bit tired of it I'd recommend reading a few reviews to see wich titles are more outliers in the otherwise rather rigid formula they use.

I'd say I probably find it a format that is more appealing than how certain "walking simulators" are designed, for a number of reasons. As it stands right now the most apt description I can make is probably that it's a digital picture book with narration. With a few trivia Easter eggs thrown in, which is a nice touch.

I mean, they're in hell for a reason right? They shouldn't have dropped the bombs....

That was something I attempted in some of my first videos I believe, but the time and work investment required just didn't seem worth it, as neither the appeal or reception seems to really change much depending on this factor. This coupled with the fact that I have very limited free time, currently almost none, makes such time commitments somewhat unviable, especially since it's not particularly appreciated in the end anyways. In any case, at least for the time being I decided that the format "quick look at" or "casual look at", a presentation in "let's play" style format that hopefully can present games to people who otherwise wouldn't have known about them, is the most viable option.

I could potentially be an idea, so that I don't accidentally repeat myself, wich I've noticed myself doing at times. Sadly I have so very little free time and no access to a good computer in recording environment, that I can barely record videos. Hopefully I'd come into a position where that's possible again in the not all to distant future. Maybe I could at least do some simple post commentary of some sort. I guess we'll see. Heck, even just doing a livestream if I get to go on holiday could be fun.
