@k-trashradio5163 Since they're babies they didn't know any better and they're not able to talk. As babies they assumed when Betty sees those earrings, she would assume that Didi gave them as a gift to say "sorry" and when Stu saw the watch, the babies assumed Stu thought Howard gave the watch as a gift to say "sorry."

Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil were willing to do anything just to get the adults to stop arguing so everyone can be friends with peace and if they were able to talk, they would have said to their parents, "just give a gift to each other to bring happiness." Fortunately, Chaz gave better persuasion to get everyone to stop arguing explaining they were too focused on arguing with each other, they weren't focusing on their own children who were babies that just ran away with the adults being very irresponsible.

I know right I've often said whenever I watch this episode sometimes but like I'm glad the Adults put aside their differences to find their kids and apologized to each other at the end.

@@vivianaespinoza5281 Some things have sentimental value to them or he could be one of those people who can’t wear a watch for very on his wrist. I remember wearing a watch back when I was ten and it bothered my wrist it made it very itchy and it even left a rash.
