So fabulous, I searched for knit pen case, so esoteric! and could not believe it yielded this link. I am also an ink and fountain pen and knitting afficionado all my life and just recently bought a few pens which I crocheted one single case for but did not turn out too well. However this looks just great. Do you have a written text for both stitch patterns as well as the case? , the demo is fab but really not clear at least to me of what you are doing to achieve both patterns. I guess I can just type out what you are saying and form it into a text. I will check if what I am asking you for is already on Ravelry. Wonder if using the thread double would make for a sturdier case, or would the knit patterns be obscured. For me, since I misplace and lose things a lot, I would NOT want to put all my pens in one place, God forbid if I couldn't find ALL my pens each with their special inks! Love the aesthetics with the ink, and you emit a lovely persona. Wish you were my neighbor, so sensitive. and meticulous! BTW you probably know this, but are you familiar with Goulet Pens? They sell all levels and lots of instructs on you tube. Also do you have any links to share that you like? Needless to say I subscribed!

Thanks. That was interesting and fun. I’ve done chromatography only accidentally when I’ve blotted some ink and left the paper towel on the counter and the colors separated. Now I understand a little better what is going on.

Thanks for this review. I’ve had Diamine Grey for a long time to draw and then pull out some shading with a waterbrush and I wondered about the Earl Grey. I’m glad you drew something with it. Looks good and I am definitely going to order some.

Your reviews are very creative, it keeps things interesting. Love the additional tea facts, I do love tea Assam being my go to as well as gunpowder green. I also love ink of course, just not at the same as tea, that might get a little messy.

Glad I watched. ^^ This made me realize that Haha has similar characteristics to Sailor Ink Studio 123. 1) Relatively dry 2) Difficult to see in writing, unless for drawing 3) Best seen in really large swatches/lines. Brush pens seem to bring out the best characteristics of this kind if ink. Otherwise, it might help to see it by having it dry out in a cheap pen in a day or 2, but it does dull the color significantly. 123 becomes some kind of gray that's surprisingly unremarkable save for a purple tint. Maybe Haha might turn a funky blue. ^^*

thats a greta idea i thought about keeping my ink samples that i made but I find that I feel like their beautiful pieces of work of art that i want to give away so ive taken the splotches ive done and occasionally will make them into a postcard and send them to people :) but your way is way cooler and you can keep them to look back on I have to look back on my videos to see if i swatched them or not

I now have more than 260 full-size bottles of in, more than a hundred samples, and a shoebox filled with cartridges, but I don't have this ink. It looks good, ah, just my cup of tea, so I think I'll order a bottle. Like I really need more ink.

I like African teas, like those from Ethiopia and Kenya. They prepare the leaves differently than the British or Chinese prep which results in a warm, earthy taste that I love!
