Gorkem Sen releases the second performance video of Yaybahar here: ua-cam.com/video/12YdwGtm6ko/v-deo.html Yaybahar is an electric-free, totally acoustic instrument designed by Gorkem Sen. The vibrations from the strings are transmitted via the coiled springs to the frame drums. These vibrations are turned into sound by the membranes which echo back and forth on the coiled springs. This results...
This sounds like a soundtrack to the nether in minecraft
Llevo tanto tiempo deseando ser su discípulo Infinitas gracias por la labor que realiza...me encantaría concerle para explicar extender su mensaje,, aunque no lo comprenda del todo...Toda mi admiración ❤❤❤
Maybe I could use that instrument recreate the martial arts Scene where Philip is kicking freestyle
I must have one
Eeeehhhhmmmmm.... what? How? Please tell me that this is not just the acoustic instrument, but also some electronic post processing. Sounds too good to be just the instrument. But anyways, incredible sounds! Even more so if just acoustic. ...OMG, only now I read the video description: it IS indeed without electronic sound effects. Amazing!
Too much delay, and the strength of it, I mean The Signal. It was just a strong as the instrument was, maybe put the delay really low, but when it just kept repeating predictably, it was just became irritating. I’m sorry I think that it’s beautiful, but those are the parts that I didn’t really enjoy only because I really wanted to hear what this thing sounded like on its own with just a little reverb show the instrument off. I think that you were showing off. Here was your beautiful instrument and lots of delay. It was like I think the instrument should come first or leave this there and do another one and explore because it is an exquisite instrument. And a better quality of Video, because I couldn’t look at it in detail cause when I got close to it. The pixels got all blurry. Make something really classy high Quality. Just trying to help. That’s all.
I just wish you had a cameraman doing close-ups😊
If i just heard this i would assume it was 6 people doing something i didn't understand
Remind me of the PlayStation 2 startup
So this is the mystical hummm every one's been hearing ove the world
Reminds me of Jodorowsky's dune
the overtones and undertones are amazeaballs
4:25
Sampling this
cool
Hey, if you ever plan on touring Europe, let us know! Would love to hear this beautiful work of art live. Would be willing to pay a lot to hear it and meet you!
Acoustic synth. Thats a new one
What the dune soundtrack should have been made with
Where can I find people like that IRL ?
How does it echo like that
I was in searching of this video for YEARS, i saw it like 10 years ago and then disappeared. Thanks algorithm!
Ode to Joy was really affecting on this.
In some distant other planet
Could you do a video on how to build one? I would like to try
Wow, how awesome 🔥🎵🔥🎵🌟
Godly
fantastic sound!
bless the maker and his water
Are the springs hooked to the bridge on the violin or are they fastened to the wood it's built on? Or are they hooked to the strings themselves? I'm struggling to understand how that string vibe translates out into the springs so sharply.
When people from the early 1900s played wood saws with a bow? Only supremely more sophisticated and dynamic. Dead Can Dance comes to mind. This is the sound our souls resonate together with, absolutely.
Epic
How was this posted nine years ago and I haven't found out about it until now? It's so underrated
Weird
Bu enstrüman ile Barış Manço dan Dönence çalabilir misiniz rica etsem?
I wonder how long it will take until Hans Zimmer uses this for one of his scores... Amazing!
Just simply wow... This is definitely one of the most incredible instruments I've ever found.
If God could hear crying, she would hear this...
This needs to be featured in the Dune 3 soundtrack
In a rabbit hole of interesting instruments where most of them sound like shit. Happy i stuck around for this. Would love to know where to find more of this???
Wonder if Daniel Lanois has heard this.
That's pretty metal.
So basically it's like a giant reverb tank like on guitar amps, with the big metal disks used as sound transducers instead of the amplifier.
This instrument should have been used in Dune. It sound ancient but at the same time very sci-fi.
This sounds like absolute chaos, vigor, emotion, ruthlessness, wisdom, greed, and beauty all at the same time ❤
una follia lucida e geniale, qualcosa che a parole si perde!!! wao!!!! posso usare questa musica per un mio video di allenamento a corpo libero quando e se deciderò di farlo? ovviamente mettendo il tuo nome e il tuo canale in descrizione
2:10 Sounds like space duduk
Sounds like the kind of music you'd hear in a horror movie set in the east/middle east
That’s a LOT of harmonics!
See what electronically enhanced sound can do?
Whales would love this guy!!
