The NFL Africa team held an event at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana. The event had indoor displays including the Lombardi Trophy, Superbowl rings, Madden 22 video game setups, and Vertical and Broad Jumps.
Outside, there was a 40-yard dash space and a Quarterback toss section.
Maurice Jones-Drew was the host of the event which featured African NFL players including Seattle Seahawks Uchenna Nwosu (Nigeria), Houston Texans Ogbonnia Okoronkwo (Nigeria), Cleveland Browns Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (Ghana), and Indianapolis Colts Kwity Paye (Liberia), as well as NFL Legends Mathias Kiwanuka (Uganda), Roman Oben (Cameroon), and Osi Umenyiora (Nigeria).
The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia almost made an appearance at the event.
