Personally I am a really big fan of the 2nd Ed AD&D style...the pic here is more similar to that style and I really dig it.

I mean disabling dislikes gives a vibe on how you handle criticism but ok. The we get into the actual content & then I get why dislikes are disabled. For anyone unlucky enough to stumble upon this episode let me resume it without the fluff. Giant monster, created to represent the unflinching horror of nature. Wanna fight? Be DnD godlike or just die trying. Yes your channel is getting removed from anything I wish to see but really? There is a reason that people do not talk about this monster. It is because there is nothing to say. It is a TPK tool or a flex tool depending on DM.

Just discovered your channel. You seem to have a great content. Detailed and elaborate. Can't wait to binge listen to all the videos. What a weird and bad idea for this kind of thing. “Right” It’s a little too uncanny. “Mmhmm” And there’s really… “Uh-huh” A lot of interruption between “Yeah” The hosts speaking one line “Ok” And the next thing they say “Right” How do you listen to this and think it sounds natural? Do you speak English? Do you talk to people this way? Is this what you hear when you listen to a podcast? The AI sounds pretty good, actually. But no one talks like this. I think the actual lore suffers when it’s delivered in this weirdly sincere, interrupt-laden way. Glad to see you will be correcting this in future posts.

Fantastic, Thanks for Sharing! I've been slowly building a ttrpg campaign around this, one of the most iconic villains in all of Fantasy lore for some time. This discussion definitely spurred my energy for the project, glad its a Sunday!

My theory for their origins is that they began as a humanoid race with the potential for psionics that found a way to the far realm but not too long ago since the ancient aboleths have little knowledge of them. Humanoids tend to be influenced in different ways by the far realm itself and its inhabitants. So what if that small population of psionic humans had a mutation that differed from uuvudaums for example because of that slight inherent mental difference?

The lore is solid and appreciated but I find myself sceptical of the delivery. Was this all read by a text-to-speech tool? A few of the articulations didn't feel natural. Which makes me wonder, who authored the text?
