Pastor Will, thank you so much for what you do. I started listening to you before I came to visit my friend Stephanie. I heard God through you and my friend first. It’s the first time I ever traveled out of state to meet God. It’s the only place I could hear Him at the time. I expected for sure but what I was given goes beyond anything I had experienced in a very long time. So many pieces were missing from me and my perception of God so you know how that goes! I’ve been on a spiritual journey my whole life. Yes, my whole life. By the time I got to your church and family I had been utterly devastated and completely destroyed. All I knew was I heard God and if I came up there I believed HE would meet me. I had waited years for this. And HE did way more than that. It was a choir rehearsal night and the life group was meeting that night. I only knew I had to go. I had never had such an experience before. At least not since I was a little girl and this was way bigger. I’m so very thankful my friend found you and that is just for her. I didn’t imagine our paths coming together like they did. I don’t think anyone else would have been fit for “this job”! I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for this woman that I already loved. Everyone I met there was so precious. I needed to fall apart for a while but I couldn’t do it safely anywhere. I had lost so many and so much in a short period of time that my heart, mind and soul decided (ha) to take a hiatus on me. Thankfully. What you do, what and how you teach is what caught my attention. I really have a hard time listening to anyone else. I’m still going through the aftermath of all the destruction but I find so much of everything I need and needed through your teaching. Your guest speakers too. I know WHO to thank already but I also want to thank you and Melissa. I still go back over videos I’ve seen because I NEED what you both bring. So glad you record! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I only wish I could have stayed but God had other plans so I came back to what had been considered “home”. It was hell before I left and got worse after my return so I left again only to be brought back to the same place I have been leaving and wanting to leave for years. I tried a church here but it wasn’t the same. Even bible study. I moved again. I’m now at another church. I’ll see how it goes. That’s where VL comes in. It’s what feeds me and I have been starved for a long time. Thank God and thank the whole VL Church family that prayed for me and with me. Again Pastor Will and Melissa, my gratitude and appreciation goes beyond my words.
