An amazing Gaslands build, the magnets worked great as well as the brown wash. I always bite my nails when using masking tape on a build, worried with the paint with bleed though or remove the paint once I need to take it off.
@RoadWarrior_John Yeah, had mixed results with Masking tape over the years, but have to say that this Tamiya tape seems to work really well.

@WastelandsRaceway shipping cost, wait times, etc. Last time I got a sprue of IoC, I think it cost me north of 24 US dollars. Including S&H.

I will admit that I'm new to following this, but if this is the start of a new season, shouldn't the teams be starting off with equal points? (I know you can gain cans at uneven rates as the season progresses)
It's a team's value. 50 cans a team . Some are slightly less due to build points. Watch the races . You'll be surprised at the outcomes 😁
@@WastelandsRaceway I get that, I was just wondering why anyone would ever go into a game with a 20 points deficit like some of these teams. You could get an extra car in there for the points difference in some of these teams. Even a vanilla car with nothing on it is still better than just wasting points.
I see your point . And in a face to face league it would make sense . Bit in the online league it's difficult enough to build all the cars . Name them and then race them with two cars a team . That's why we've opened it up to you guys. Make it a little more interesting and see how others would use the cans. I mean the wastelands Raceway guys don't use the full can amount and they always seem to do ok

It's because it's a treat for those that do take them apart, or take the time to really peer into the windows. And some like the HW Porsche 944 have irl reasons for the easter eggs in them. ALSO the early versions of the HW Chevy Silverado has a bike in it that's perfect for Gaslands, and the Dodge Van has a go kart that's not too hard to remove and chop into a 'count as' bike.

I just Use Nail beads, you know those "Half balls" for rivets/bolts. if they are "too big" its just bolts instead of rivets i have seen some mighty huge bolts in my days so that can be a thing.

Ah another video banished by the algorithm, Glad I finally got to see it. Some cool cars, got the Mercury and Aston myself and can't wait to Gasland them at some point. Really hope they do make a 5 pack one day with cars ready to Gasland like the Sting Rod, Sting Rod 2, Enforcer, Turbo Turret and any others that have guns.

That Mercury is so wonderfully sick. And use the other pieced of the moustache car to make the one you customized a friend. And there is a few HW cars with guns on them. ^-^
I have a second mo stash so watch this space . I'm not a fan of the hot wheels cars with guns as they are to fake for my liking ...although if matel want some help I'm happy to oblige
@@WastelandsRaceway Thier 1st military halftrack, has a really solid, realistic gun on it. Fake ones are good for energy weapon Mishkin ones though.
