After a tank of 87 the sensors sends signals to the ECM to adjust the timing. Yes even the older cars can be retimed by moving the disturber, if there's any out there. I own a LS 430. 2003 with a 2006 JDM engine. It had a blown engine from lack of coolant, came seized, timing belt shredded. Snapped two valves off. Made a door in number 8 cylinder wall. Put 65 on new engine, it only had 5 when I got it. Paid 3100 for engine, paid 250 for car. I have never run anything in it but 87 for the last 10 years. The truth is you wast your money on high test. Ok 23 years retired Master Toyota Technician. Knock sensors are the key. It just has to relearn the timing. If you disconnect the battery or replace it , it has to relearn if you don't have a charger hooked up or memory safer. I can floor it no knock.

Toyota is reliable? I take it you never owned one. I did and mine broke down the first time three days after I took delivery. It got stuck one hundred and sixty-five times the first year. Even though it was serviced matchlessly at an authorized Toyota garage every five thousand kilometres (yes 5,000 km) it broke down time and again. Toyotas are far from being reliable, this is an urban myth, it is just that Toyota know very well how to conceal failures and excel at marketing below par products at premium prices. They are very expensive to maintain, un comfortable and rather poorly put together. For their price tags there are far better vehicles on the market.

I just got another PCM that they reprogrammed and sent to me when I tried to start it on my screen it said put car in run position and wait while vehicle VIN information is verified I sat there for almost 30 min. Befor i stopped.(?) has anyone experienced this before and if so how long did it take for it to say information verified

That was about as helpful as a handbrake on a canoe. My wife hit some rough road in her Charger and tore up the airdam and the plastic under the engine area. I want to jack it up to repair, remove or replace it. Its too low to roll onto my ramps. My floor jack won't fit under it. Screw the scissor jack. I guess I'll take it in to my local garage and have them put it on the lift to take a look.

Fantastic video! Question for RAM drivers: I recently had a 2021 RAM Limited with the HEMI for a test drive. Only 12k miles on it. It had a 3.92 axle. Air suspension, 22 inch wheels with Goodyear Eagle Touring 285/45/22. I was shocked at how nice it was. Then I drove a brand new 2025 RAM with the Hurricane. This had the air suspension, but 20 inch wheels and Bridgestone Dueler 275/55/20 tires. The 2025 felt completely different than the 2021. The difference was stark: the 2021 RAM with the HEMI drives and rides like a 5 series BMW inside of a truck. The 2025 RAM with the Hurricane drives and rides like a Lincoln Town Car. Is that HEMI that different than the Hurricane?... Could the wheels and tires have made that much of a difference?... Could the air suspension have been set differently and I didn’t know it?

Where is the visual experiment to prove your hypothesis?? Yes it is theoretically wrong to put petrol on a diesel engine in 50/50 ratio.. For that amount do an audio visual experiment on a car to prove your cause.. I mistakenly fill up my diesel BMW with 10L of petrol and only realized when the car started to jarr around.... But instead of draining down the wrong fuel I filled it up with diesel full tank.... It actually reduces the smoke emission and turns out to clean the injectors of soot much more aggressively than pure diesel alone
