This would have been a fantastic camp / outdoor knife if they used 3mm stock instead of 5mm. Its too small to be a chopper and too thick to be a proper cutting machine. It will appeal ro the novice or maybe military if it had come with a kydex sheath.

I was impressed when i bought mine

The top of the handle is smaller than the one originally issued with the m1910 pick and mattock with carrier. Making it possible to slide the Rothco handle all the way through the m1910 carrier.

if i had to use an axe everytime i had to baton my arms would fall off and i would be 90 years old... axes are situational, knives are always carried, batoning with a knife (depending on how heavy of wood) is way more common that running around with an axe 24/7

I recently bought the brass UCO and 3 candle kit in the felt bag. The UCO came in a white generic box and mine had the same sticker but it was a bit crooked. Made me wonder if it was a knockoff. I then bought the neoprene case. The packaging looked the same as yours. The odd thing is the case fits super snug. Almost to the point of annoyingly tight. Bent the hanging handle it was so tight. Is yours that tight in the case? So much so I’m wondering if my uco is just a bit bigger and is a fake…? 😮

I have one of these. I have only filled it with fluid once and it still lights every time. Got it free from some survival mailer subscription gift incentive. I thought it was a gimmick but it's probably one of the best I have.
