bro GRIP might've smoked JID's verse that was an incredible verse from GRIP but Em smoked all these Foe . his rhyme schemes on this song are some of the best he ever had . he wasnt touching this typa rhyming on the whole album💀 his verse on the original was WAYYY more dense and compact but this is more complex rhyme writing in terms of multi-syllable schemes like 90% of ems verse on the remix is rhyming the same scheme and adding new syllables and adding on to the whole schemes while bending words like krazy and ofc the headache rap triple entendre sandwiches in between allat . the millennium's shakespeare foe

Brand New Dance was his continuation of his beef with Christopher Reeves, as he was Superman in the original movies, had a horse riding accident making him paraplegic and died in 2004, which is why he pulled the song from Encore, as he explains in Guilty Conscience 2. That's why he sounds so young in it.

This is my take on American Life; it actually wasn't that much of great album, but a political one at that. I think that the LGBTQ community, felt that she sold us out? but she & her team, decided not to show the actual American Life video, otherwise, it would have been possibly a backlash? This album was definetly a better album much more than Madam X.

Video coming out tomorrow. Hope it gets the views. It's pretty crappy that this one doesn't have as many views because of the leaked versions. There are so many tnings people ate missing ... Like Em shouting out Farmers Boulevard and LL shouting out 8 Mile. The different "canes" and then it comes back to Big Daddy Kane, album cover where he's being fed grapes. The various Jack the Ripper references. The Halloween murder references. I'll be listening to it more because I know I'm missing some stuff. Never can take Em's words as just words.

Like your review . I didn't agree with all of it but mostly because we like different things. I love the doubles and triples. When I listen to him, I'm not doing it to chill. I like logic problems and stuff that engages my brain. So I would just have things in a different order. I think Em had Brand New Dance on the album because it fit the concept. He wants people to see how messed up Slim is. Even when Marshall tells him he took it off Encore because Christopher Reeve died, Slim's response is sellfish. (Funny too but) the point is, if Slim was a real person that you knew in real life, would people be wanting to be hanging around with him or think he's a jerk. But everyone wants him and not Eminem. I really liked MTBMB so I'm not one of those people who crap on Em. Doesn't mean I haven't listened to this whole album about 30 times tho. Been waiting for side B or a deluxe. Just a few more days now.

this album is up there . i put this above recovery relapse slim shady lp mtbmb and mmlp2. the songs are dope the beats are dope and he was rapping probably the best hes ever rapped his entire life out of his ENTIRE 30 year long career from a technical lyrical perspective. this is gonna be in rotation for years on my end especially habits antichrst and renaissance. actually the whole first 70% of the entire album is damn near perfect i love raw hardcore hiphop 🔥
