This video contains two very serious errors. First, the description of crossing-over is incorrect. The sister chromatid arms beyond the crossover point do not move over and join their homologs, as shown. Instead all the chromatid arms remain beside their sisters. The only thing that 'crosses over' is the covalent connection at the crossover point. Second, the chromosomes do not line up at the center of the cell before they attach to the spindle fibers. Instead, the chromosomes first attach to spindle fibers that come from both poles of the cell, and the resulting tug-of-war is what pulls the chromosomes to the center of the cell. Also note that the chromosomes are always 'double-stranded', in the molecular DNA sense. The two strands the video is referring to are the two sister chromatids.
