Hi Mary, You might be right but I know the cruise companies do a great job legally protecting themselves from this behavior. It is very difficult for people to sue a cruise line but, to your point I'm sure there are many people that try to get something for nothing. I agree the Atlantic can be rough and I'm thinking the 8 day voyage was created to provide more of a cruising experience for passengers and for passengers to spend more money on the ship i.e. shopping and casino. Hi Johanne from Quebec, Thank you so much for sharing your opinion. I kinda have a similar opinion but, if money or a budget is important to someone this place might be a good option for them. Personally, I would look for a different hotel. But, if I found the other hotels $100, $200 or $300 more than this hotel I might consider staying here again. What a great question! Yes they did stamp our passport at our first port of call. Everyone, crew and passengers needed to come off the ship and be processed through the Japanese customs and border patrol. It only got stamped that one time upon our first entry. Hi Mark, I love it🚢51 Days WOW!🥳 You are going to have a blast! 🥳 Ok, let's get to that great question. We stopped buying the drink package years ago for a few reasons. 1) It’s too bloody expensive. 2) I found myself drinking more. Making sure I drank the daily limit to get my money's worth. So, it’s a Big NO for us on the drink package. However, here are some of the things we do if we want a drink and not spend a lot of money. On embarkation day we bring on to the ship our allowed bottles of wine or champagne and when in port if allowed we would purchase a few bottles of the local wine and bring them to the ship. We would fill our glasses and head out around the ship with our full glasses of wine. If we wanted more wine one us would just head back to the cabin for a refill. If we wanted a beer or mixed drinks we would purchase as we go. I know it sounds like a lot of work but I'm pretty frugal and drinking can get very expensive 😂😂 I hope this helps. It was a very small and very quiet casino. If I recall the table minimums were $6 US dollars. The slots ranged from a penny to $1. You're right there is no official running track. However, Deck 7 is used as a walking/running deck as well as a sitting and relaxing area. If you are looking to have a relatively uninterrupted run go to deck 7 early morning or later in the day it has very little passenger traffic and allows for you to have a relatively uninterrupted run. We like to get our cardio in by running and walking and we are able to squeeze in a run/walk session on deck 7 everyday during peak deck 7 hours. Keep in mind you are only on a seven day cruise and if you find it difficult to get your run in you can always go to the fitness center. See our link below for the fitness center. Thank you for watching and commenting on the only ocean liner in service and the sea swells. I could see why you would say that. The camera doesn't capture what the human eye can see. I can tell you the waves were as high as 30 feet and in some cases 40 feet. It was a crazy 72 hours of storms. Are you a subscriber?
