You don't really get a discount they raise prices at time of renewal.

I was recently what I would call scammed by Progressive Insurance. I went online to Progressive and requested a quote for a bundled home and auto insurance. I received quotes for both auto and home online and proceeded to the checkout process. At that time Progressive only allows you to process the checkout and pay for the Auto and Home insurance in two separate transactions. First the auto then the home insurance. I paid and completed the auto insurance but the home insurance checkout would not allow me to complete without speaking to a Progressive underwriter. I called the Progressive underwriter to attempt to pay for the home insurance and the underwriter changed the online quote amount and added in an additional $300+ to the cost of the home insurance policy. I feel this was a deliberate misleading by Progressive especially considering that I had to pay for the progressive auto insurance upfront before I could even finalize the home insurance. The quote for the homeowners insurance is much higher than my current home insurance coverage so why would I want to switch to Progressive. I then informed Progressive that since they deceived my with the online quote on the home policy that I wanted to cancel the auto insurance that I just paid for 20 minutes prior. Guess what, I have to wait a month for Progressive to cancel the auto insurance and send me a refund check. This is deceptive business practices in my opinion and I will never do business with Progressive again.

Stay away from this company ...worst insurance company i ever deal with in 25 years ....

You forgot to mention that they also add underage children in your house to your policy and will charge you for full coverage insurance for them. Don't see many companies that support underage driving like that!

They are scammers!! Money making company!! Dont get fooled and never attempt to get any insurances from them..I initially purchased car policy from them. I was told by agent that i only have to pay 384 since i only have 1 years driving experience on the US. After i signed the policy and have the whole contract price on hand they have adjusted it after 2 weeks and asked me to pay 1600. Instead of getting refund for not even finishing the contract after cancelling it they charged me still 190 dollars. Scam Scam Scam..never ever get ur insurance through them

Watch out for these guys. The first thing they try to do is run a credit check on you, even without your knowledge.

Scammer Alert…. Just wait for them to scam you when they sit on your claim and then wiggle out of it. Stay away from these scammers namely Rita Young who scammed me by sitting on my claim and only answering my call the morning after the denial. Suddenly very eager to reach out. On a scale of one to 10 I give progressive auto insurance one star.

Worst company ever real bunch of scumbags when you call I replaced my 2003 Silverado with a like a quip 2009 Silverado yet they raise my rate on my liability better than $50 per month no explanation bunch of bastards

They don't cover Dental extractions. Embrace has rollover deductibles and pays for exams- HP doesn't.

My wife and I are Senior citizens and have the same vehicles for several years now. We have ZERO CLAIMS NOT EVEN A MINOR BUMP and our payments went up 90$. My wife called to find out why and the answer was due to our zip code and the amount of accident occurrences in the area. Why should I pay for some idiots accident claims I don't have them insured. PROGRESSIVE HAS THEM INSURED SO LET PROGRESSIVE PAY FOR THE CLAIMS THAT THE AGREED TO ON THE APPLICATION OF EACH PERSON. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST ROUGE BUSINESS PRACTICES SUCH AS THIS......BULL!
