This harness has been a wonderful help to me in the states. With Autism and CP, I use it for postural support needs as i have a difficult time keeping my upper body upright. I have recommended it to others as an option and now to my health team to help others child to adult with options esp. affordable options. It is very comfortable, well made and always their when i need it most. Thanks Medifab team.

My son has Angelman syndrome but was diagnosed only at 18 months old. I feel lucky with all his abilities. His milestone are sure delay but he’s capable of many things.

What are my options when the car doesn't have a tethering anchor? Most are also shown in a bucket seat, I need something very universal as my son gets picked up with ride share in a different vehicle daily. My grandma gets my son into and out of the car so I need something very easy and lightweight as she can't carry his current car seat. Please help!

How much weight can this hold? I have a patient over 300 lbs. it’s really frustrating how they only make medical equipment for skinny people.

Can it be used as a triple too

The wheels are way to small and you would need a patient lift/hoist to load the user on to the chair. There are tons and tons of so called smart bath/toiletchairs with lots and lots of options on them but in real life they are pretty useless. Imagine the amount of stuff you would need to clean if the patient /user would actually have too pee or even worse poo while using the chair.

I just love being in my 13 harness, it feels so safe and secure to be locked in. And I’ve never managed to escape from it despite struggling as hard as I possibly can, it very definitely does it’s job of keeping me in my seat!

Hi, Josh! I am impressed with your closed captioned video demonstration of Houdini 31 Vehicle Harness. It looks very secure but comfortable. My father (now deceased) would love to put me in the 7-point harness to restrain me and calm me down because I was feisty, behaving bad, and out of control whenever my family and I went on one of those long car trips 65 years ago. Being a deaf boy, my father would keep me there in that harness until I become maybe 14 years old. That was when I started to improve and understand better. While I am still at it, I have seen your collection of child harnesses, especially those heavy, full body harnesses with wide straps.. They reminded me of my own old-fashioned body harness with wide leather straps for my shoulders, chest, waist, and crotch, and metal buckles and leather leash secured behind my back that my father put me in. That was after one day back then when I was three years old that I managed to slip out of my father's hand and ran right into the residential street in the front of a slow-moving car. My father grabbed me fast and pulled me back on the sidewalk as the car went by. Thereafter my father bought the harness with adjustable straps and kept me in it until I was nine years old. I did accept it and lived with it. I was a good runner that time., anyway. So keep up the good job. Since the world has gone crazy now, I enthusiastically support your important mission to provide your best equipment to more and more parents and especially rambunctious boys with autism, ADHD, and other special need throughout the unsafe world. Okay , enough of my blather! I wish you the best.

No amount of struggling will get you out of this harness once you're locked securely in it, it's an amazing restraint.
