Snowy times Squamish // Boney Elbows

First winter riding conditions of the year! Finding some fun lines on Boney Elbows up in Sqaumish, BC. Good times were had! Trailsforks: For those that love to ride granite the trail has a lot to offer. The trail consists of 4-5 slabs, a x/c climb and a viewpoint. After the first slabs is a fast section of trail that is unique as it rides like a granite pump track. Keep an eye out for two optio...

Here's a video I took back in Sept. Not my finest riding but I figured I should post it since I haven't done much filming the last few months....Enjoy Trailforks: Natural old school trail containing steep man-made and natural TTFs with many rooty sections. A bit of uphill pedalling in spots. www.trailforks.com/trails/bookwus/

Classic North Shore Mountain Biking // Ladies Only
Переглядів 1,3 тис.4 роки тому
This video highlights the upper part of one of Mt. Fromme's most iconic trails. This will always one of my favorite trails on the North Shore. Trailforks: The definitive North Shore classic with mandatory man-made and natural TTFs with steep rough terrain. Extensively reworked in 2010. Not for beginner riders. www.trailforks.com/trails/ladies-only/
Lower Boogieman Tech // Mt. Seymour MTB

Just a short clip of some serious tech on Mt. Seymour. These trails used to terrify me, but I can't get enough of this stuff lately! I guess that's what happens when you live on the shore...

Squamish! // Rupert & Slippery Salmon

Time for a little change...I had the chance to ride in Squamish for the day, one of the best places on Earth to mountain bike! Rupert: Another legendary trail built by Gary McFarlane, The trail is an easy black, with optional intermediate options (all signed with a chicken). The trail offers so many different styles of riding - XC, rock slabs, downhill rips, and some interesting wood-work. Defi...

Upper Digger on Mt. Fromme....Take 2
Переглядів 1,6 тис.4 роки тому
A redo of a trail I already posted...One of Fromme's best! And no one ever rides it....too bad it's a little short! Trailforks: Technical trail containing many steep natural and man-made TTFs. The TTFs are very skinny and challenging. Not a beginner trail. Digger is a steep, old school, techy, VERY slow and precise trail. If you want fast flow with jumps and drops, this totally is not the trail...
Trying So Hard Not To Crash! // Upper Oil Can on Mt. Fromme
Переглядів 2,3 тис.4 роки тому
Mountain biking on one of Mt. Fromme's most technical double black trails. Chris takes a gnarly crash on a crazy skinny! Such a fun trail! Trailsforks says: Double black stunts not for the faint of heart. Elevated skinnies, committing rock rolls & ramps will test your cojones. Armoured trail offers ride arounds on every structure. If you continue to Lower Oilcan, don't expect anything of the sa...

Did It Last WeekEnd 😎 And The WeekEnd Before Too 😎
do break at the turns ?
Dude, thanks for including all the stops and crashes in the video, such a nice change from overedited videos. I love seeing that all riders are humans :)
Rode this for the first time today in the wet. A lot less dirt than in the video hahaha
Helluva Ride. Have been on Rip And Dip (without the jumps). Some of the jumps on Flow Rider might be in my wheelhouse....
Love Thornhill. But these trails are a bit above my pay grade. Lolz.
Nice, trickiest section is probably that initial roll. You rode it really smooth
Nice one! went down Lower Boogie for the first time recently. Had to walk a few sections, but hope to clean it soon :)
what's on the left wrist? for protection or from an injury?
smooth sailings haha
Shout out to the dude on the lower end that actually took his bike OFF THE DAMN TRAIL before taking a break.
Glad I'm not the only one that talks to his bike...
4:37 That root on the left showed no mercy lol
I lived on the North Shore in the 1990s and rode Executioner as my 'hot lap' about 1-2 every week. I seem to recall a steep rock face on it that was about 35-45 degrees and about 4-5 metres long. I didn't see it in the video. Have they re-routed part of the trail over the years? I think they used to call that rock face 'The Executioner'. It was menacing back in the day on those bikes.
What trail do you take to get from pan for to boogie nights ? Or do they meet up.
Awesome run, how long have you been mountain biking for? I am 2 months in, would like to try it one day...on my hardtail
Best flow trail on the shore for sure. It’s not like there’s only like 5 or less lol
Yousa Monstah! Lol which are your top 3 favourite trails to ride at Fromme if you don't mind me asking?
My local hill🤘 subbed
This was insane vid keep it up
Damn bro your matchmaker filed for divorce there at 1:16
The work on Crippler is done by an Independent builder and not the NSMBA... FYI
I can never get used to those skinny droppy roll things, they always make me pucker up
sprocket is pretty annoying..
What app do you edit on pls
Shot-cut
Went over the bars on the skull lol. Lucky a tree was there to catch my fall. Super tech trail for sure.
What app do you edit on
What camera setup is this? Is there a gimbal or just software de-shakify?
i just rode this today... it was epic and somehow a bit snowy
3:08 good save bro
Will you recommend a downhill bike or a enduro bike for this trails ? I’m new in Vancouver and want to buy a bike and explore the trails
Hey, I see that you are using the Mobius wrist guard. Care to give a review? What kind of injury? I have a bad wrist and I'm researching different braces to use when riding.
I have a broken scaphoid that has never healed properly (surgery with 7 pins). I highly recommend the Mobius brace as it does not get in the way of your palm and allows you to grip the handlebars as you normally would without a brace. Works great for me!
I’ve never ridden this one- it looks really steep!
Your reaction to the chain breaking on the skinny would have mirrored my own! Good run!
Thanks!
A rare Bookwus video- love it - trail looks great now!
Glad you enjoyed it!
