This Collectivity was put together over a year and a half ago, and does not feature Hirokazu Kore-eda's latest film "Like Father Like Son" due to time restraints and limited releasing. The heart-felt and profound films of one of Japan's most talented filmmakers arouse peculiar insights into life, love, and childhood. I, writing this a year after this edit's creation, still struggle to put into words how deeply this filmmaker has influenced my view of cinema.
