Hi, I’m Gen, also known as the Seattle Book Lady, and this channel is where I share my journey, creativity, and reflections on life.
Since 2012, I’ve been filling handmade journals with thoughts, doodles, reflections, and bits of life. These journals are my way of making sense of the world, dreaming about what’s possible, and honoring the messiness of being human. Each one is crafted with care, from unique fabrics to the stories that unfold on every page.
Here, you’ll find me sharing pieces of my journals and the questions that guide my creative process. I’ll reflect on personal milestones, curiosities, and the small moments that make life rich. I hope to inspire you to pick up a pen, listen to your own voice, and create something that feels true to you.
This is a space for exploration, imperfection, and connection. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, curious about journaling, or simply want to join me in reflecting on life, I’m so glad you’re here. ~Gen
