Videos to make you smile...hopefully! Although my first love is photography and the website Flickr, I have recently become addicted to recording videos on my Nikon D5300 and iPhone and also editing them on iMovies, and the latest uploads are what I call my 'vliaries' - ie, a mixture of vlogs (which I'm not very good at) and diaries!

Aw did Tim not get a candle? at least you had nice weather 🙂
No candle for Tim - he had the anniversary cake! We did have one day of rain (next video!) but the first half of our trip was nice, dry weather! ^_^
Hello, Hope you are well .I have already visited your UA-cam channel. and analysed the videos. Your videos are great & very nice but your video SEO and optimization are very low. This is a big problem. Because of this your video is not getting views, likes, comments, subscribers and is not going viral .Video uploading is very important for SEO and properly promotion. UA-cam channels need SEO and video promotion. If you want, I will help you to grow your channel . I am waiting for your response. Kind Regards Freelancer Bokhari
Wonderful video, I had feeling I travel with you!
That's so kind! That''s exactly what I'm aiming for!! (London next!!) ^_^ xx
Thank You So Much For record this video You Deserve More views I can Help You very well.
The Triangle building in the back of the "Mermaid", is an artificial "Ski-hill" and an Incinerator Plant below it. Made by a well known Danish Architect: Bjarke Ingels. And the stone with the sledge, which you passed, is a Memorial for the Exploration and the final mapping of till then unmapped East Greenland! Which sadly ended with three men dying, after having finished it! Only one member: Jørgen Brøndlund, was found, having reached a Depot with his notes, before dying. Finn. Denmark
Thank you so much for telling me about the Memorial for the Exploration - that is a sad story. I hadn't yet managed to google for information, so it's nice to hear about it from you. ^_^
@@JainbowUK It was named: "Danmarks Expeditionen", 1906 - 1908 and it explored the last and huge part of the Greenland Coast up where American Peary had built a Stone Pillar, from his Expedition from the west. He made claims about a possible Canal, which was proven not to be there, and they gave their by then made Maps to another, surviving Group from the same Expedition. But going back they hit areas with no wildlife, snow or Ice (making it able to use the sledges), and had to stay for longer. And this became their death trying to come back. The dogs and - Inuit Jørgen may have eaten from the other dead members - but he was an absurdly good and fantastic Expedition Man! He claimed in his diary (The last part written in Danish, as he knew it would be Danes finding his body) he had left their bodies on the ice of "79 Fiord", and they have never been found. The Text on the Stone is his Final Message! The present Danish Military, Sledge Patrol, "Sirius" passes his Grave and Memorial every year!
Their present Barracks in Daneborg, is around from where the Expedition started!
@@finncarlbomholtsrensen1188 Thank you - I really do appreciate your explanations and hope anyone looking at my video will read them too. I have a question for you (unrelated), as a Dane. We saw a pile of cowboy boots on a pole on the corner of Vestergade and Kattesundet. Is it a genuine sculpture or is there a hidden message behind it? I can't find any information on the boots.
@@JainbowUK I'm another Dane who just saw your travel video, hope you had a great trip, I tried googling what the Cowboy boots might be, the only thing I can see is there is a little leather shop on the corner of Vestergade where they have boots, so it must be related to that
The Spiral "Church-tower", shortly seen in the background over a roof, is to walked up on the spiral to the top! And Rosenborg Castle was a Royal Summerhouse in the open land. Indside The City Hall, they have the most precise Mechanical Clock in the World (Guinness), "The Olsen Clock". And also with the slowest moving mechaninal part (Guinness), showing the axis of the solar System, taking a round in I think 25.000 years (In this case covering 1500 years)? Finn. Denmark
Thank you so much for your comment, Finn. The only tower we went up was the Round Tower. I saw a video of someone climbing up the spiral church tower (Church of our Saviour) and thought 'no way'!! I wish we had seen the Olsen Clock though. Thanks again ^_^
Loved the boat trip, felt as if we are there with you. Great weather too, the tour guide said they can't rely on that but you hit lucky ^_^
Thank you so much - I was worried it was too long, but it was a great tour and I loved the tour guide's accent! She explained it better than I could ever do! The only rain we had was one evening through to the next morning but we didn't get wet! ^_^
Very interesting videos Jane! It was nice to watch your photos on Flickr but these both videos include voices, sounds, move and I feel I was travelling too!
Thank you, Ilona. I know I should talk more and include more of the atmosphere but I hate my voice and my mind goes blank when I should be talking, lol! I appreciate you coming along with us! ^_^
Thank you for visiting Denmark. I hope that you have a good trip.
Thank you so much - 3 nights wasn't enough and Copenhagen was more beautiful than I'd expected! Loved it! ^_^
Yes, that was a diplomatic carriage or a royal. Every time they use the split flag, it is in official state business. I used to train the sailors to the royal yacht.
Thank you so much for watching and for confirming that. How amazing to have trained those sailors.
@JainbowUK thank you for visiting and asking. It was just a part of my service to the NATO defence back then. I was just a part of the education and didn't take part in the official service. I'm just a simple drill instructor who happened to have the skillset to learn these young people how to protect our queen.
@@citizenVader Sounds like an important job to me! ^_^
That tour guide is just super. 🇩🇰🇬🇧.
Thank you - yes, we really enjoyed it! She gave us just the right amount of information. ^_^

Well I could have watched that a lot longer. What a beautiful city, the architecture and those gardens are amazing. It was like watching an animated view of your photostream, loved it well done ^_^
Aw thank you! I had done a slightly longer video but kept it private, and when I played it to Matt and Sophie it seemed to be too slow moving!! Working on part 2 now - I do enjoy the editing side!! ^_^
I really enjoyed tis video. And the ending was wonderful with the bee trying to find it's hole and the purple decoration, god bless you, flashing through the May breeze <3
Aw, thank you so much for taking the time to watch - I really do appreciate it! The garden’s looking pretty good at the moment, so I wanted to include it in my diary! Xx ^_^
That's me driving that Dalek 😀
Aw, thanks for commenting! What a great fun claim to fame! ^_^
Not been to brighton in i have no idea how long.
We usually go once every year or so but hadn't been since the pandemic hit. Nice to be back! ^_^
A very interesting video! So much to see!
Thank you for coming a long with us!! ^_^ xx
Nice video looks like you guys had a good time.
Thank you - Tim was undergoing chemo at that time of the year but we still managed to get out a couple of times! ^_^
Looks like a nice place to stay.
I definitely recommend it ^_^
Great work Jane!
Wowww Amazing Beautiful 👌👌👌👌

Thank you - I'm pleased we saw them ^_^ x
Well done Jane, I really enjoyed both parts! And I am sure for your family that was fabulous time together!
Aw, thank you so much - yes, apart from Tim's tiredness it was a lovely holiday ^_^ xx
I really enjoyed the video Jane. Loved seeing the trees and flowers sway in the wind, and to hear and see the water in the fountain. So much better than just photos. Glad to see Tim smiling at the end. This name is just one of several I go by. Nice steady filming btw.
Thank you so much for watching it - I appreciate your kind comment (even though I haven't worked out who you are, LOL!) ^_^

Had to smile at the "Lady Jane" and you and JJ under the brollies 🙂 off to look at part two ;-)
I normally hate carrying a brolly but had to admit it was worth it on this occasion! Thank you so much, Toot!! ^_^

I remember walking along that pier
I think it's the second longest pier in the UK and apparently the oldest! It's a nice start to a day on the Island! ^_^
Amazing video Jane!
Thank you so much, Ilona! Very kind of you 😊
which section/seat is this? :)
It was a Club seat in the N8 area. My son kindly bought us the tickets, which were more expensive, but they included a free meal and it was nice that no one was blocking our view! ^_^
Hi there , Wishing you a very belated NewYear ! I've just been binge watching your vlogs and wanted to send you deepest condolences on losing Lina. And congrats on your beautiful new boy who reminds me so much of my last dog. It's lovely to see back home on your channel, we often drove to Lymington when I was a child, it's a pretty place . Anyway best wishes and thanks for sharing the uploads, from Toronto .
Ah, Tilly - how lovely! Thank you for taking the time! I still miss Lina - well, you always do miss your furry families, don't you? Harbie, you may realise, it much more challenging than Lina ever was! Thankfully he is good with people, but beware if we come too close to a dog! We are working very hard on it though - we just hope it pays off, so we can include him in our lives properly! Lymington was lovely - we're going to Christchurch soon, just along the coast! Thank you again. Keep warm and take care! ^_^ xx
Thank you for this of course. A very nice area it is too. I have been there before although not of late due to disability, but found it very nice as I say too. Well done!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I am not the most professional creator on UA-cam but I enjoy recording those special moments for myself and my family and they bring back memories better than my photos do. I'm so pleased you were able to enjoy it too. Thank you for watching ^_^
@@JainbowUK Thank you there for your reply too-you are most welcome too of course.
And you are so then too of course.
I wish I had bought a ticket closer to the stage. This concert was amazing!!
We did have great seats but not the same atmosphere you get when you're standing close. I enjoyed it a lot - she's my favourite singer ^_^
Tanks
No probs ^_^
I hope you had a good time!
Thank you - apart from the rain it was lovely! ^_^ x
What a bonny looking dog. Lovely natured as well by the looks of it from someone with a Bosnian rescue as well.
That's really kind of you to watch and comment. We've had Harbie for 3 months now and I can't say it's been an easy time! But I've been learning quite a few tips and hints from UA-cam and a behaviourist has visited and I think we might be making some (slow) progress! He's a lovely boy - just reactive with other dogs, which we didn't expect, as we read he was popular in the shelter in Bosnia! ^_^
@@JainbowUK My rescue loves being with other dogs as well, great for meeting and greeting other walkers. I have a question, did Harbie take to dog toys e.g. chasing after a ball or chew toys? I've been trying to get my dog to go after a ball but she used to run away from it (I'm guessing people threw things at her in Bosnia but I can't confirm). She started running towards things I throw in the garden now like a clothes peg (I found that out when I dropped one and she was in the garden, she ran up to it) but she hasn't learned the technique of 'brining it back' yet.
@@nickmetroid Although Harbie looks playful in the video he doesn't do much chasing! Our last dog, from Romania didn't chase things much either. I will sometimes throw a toy for him and then start to run away. He'll run towards the toy and then run towards me without bringing it with him! After a couple of goes he loses interest! How old is your Bosnian girl? We were told he was around 2, but the behaviourist reckoned he was nearer 1 than 2. My favourite trainers are Graeme (The Dogfather) Hall and Zac George, who I found on UA-cam. I really like the combination of positive training but being able to say, 'no' or 'quiet' when necessary. Our issues are pulling and barking at other dogs, but the behaviourist suggested carrying a water spray, so if he ignores our treats I can squirt him. I hated doing this, but he's come to no harm and it has been a great deterrent, although it will be a while until we can approach another dog head on. How long have you had yours? ^_^
Thankyou ,I am glad you liked Wareham and I also liked your video. Steve.
Thank you so much for watching. I put my videos on UA-cam for my family to watch, but if anyone else enjoys them it's always a bonus! ^_^
Your best video yet Jane. So well done and the panning was slow enough that I didn't feel dizzy and was able to enjoy what I was watching. I loved the scenery and the cottage which it's cozy living room and comfy looking beds. Interesting birds on that bridge.
Thank you! I always try to go at the right speed when I'm videoing but panning can be quite difficult! I try not to linger too long on one scene too. It was a nice place to spend a couple of nights ^_^
Used to love going here. Wish it still happened!
Beautiful!
Thank you! Sadly we had our lovely dog Lina put to sleep on the previous Monday, so it was nice to have this distraction! Hope you're well ^_^ x
