My dad died when i was 17 didn't really get to know him until last 2 weeks of his life stayed at the hospital with him then my older brother came home man he hurt so bad see as fire me my grandparents raised me n my older sister bcuz they were always traveling an i have dextrocardia my heart is on the right side of my chest so was in n out of the hospital so much they thought i was going to die by by the grace of God im still here also the Dr's told me n my late wife that im not supposed to have any kids but thank you Jesus i have 1 son but i sure do miss my grandparents especially my grandfather rest in peace papa

As my family prepares to celebrate the life of our dear brother Daniel, this song brings comfort to us especially the first few lines. I can see my brother wrapping his arms around our daddy's neck who we lost when my siblings were 3 - 11 years old. But then the rest of the song, I envision my brother seeing Jesus home for the first time in person. Jesus hugs him and says, welcome home my son. Then Jesus turns him around and says, there are someone who has been waiting for you - and it's our daddy, momma and nephew Micah. What an amazingly glorious time that must have been. Being in the presence of his heavenly father, my parents and nephew. Such a warmth in my heart I feel. And yes, Daniel, daddy is proud of the man you became and your heavenly father has loved you always and forever - No matter what! Our hearts are saddened but God promises we will see each other again. I love you - your little sister.

I never met my birth mom, but several years ago learned a little bit about her. Then later on saw her obituary. This played at the end with pictures. I’m so very thankful and grateful that she gave birth to me. I’m sure it wasn’t easy with what she went through. I know some day when I make it home I will meet not only my Savior but my birth mom. My father passed away on the 26th of November, 2022. Unfortunately, he passed before he could make his flight home. So my brother and I had to pick up his truck from the airport, and this song just so happened to be stuck playing the whole way home. Now my dad loved his heavy metal and rock, so I can't imagine this was what he was listening to when he pulled up to the airport. I'd like to think he left this as a message to us to not worry as he was home now. He was the most loving and devout father, friend, Christian, and soilder. This one's for you, dad. I'll miss you until my last breath when I see you again❤️

My Daddy passed away almost three years ago from Parkinsons disease. I was a Daddy's girl! I long for Heaven!

I got in a car accident when I was eight , this was the song playing in the car when it happened , very traumatic and I should’ve died 5holes throughout my organs and my large and small intestines were ripped in half all caused by a seat belt but God saved me and Jesus came that day .. I’m now 20 and relistening to this makes me feel so many things .. god is so good . I am so blessed to live for him 💕 don’t forget to wear your seat belts everyday !!

I do hope, however, that people who hear it will not think in terms of "doing things to impress God", to attain favor of eternal life, based on our works, as the fellow wants to tell Jesus about when sitting on the bench w/ Him. We attain eternal life and forgiveness of sins, as a Grace Gift of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, thereby perfecting us forever (spiritually), which qualifies us to spend eternity with Him. It is NOT something we DO to earn or deserve it. We rely on Jesus Christ alone, for He is the author and finisher of our faith & provider of our forgiveness of sins and eternal life. .
