I attached my bar and hitch ball in the front of my 2010 35 HP 60” CAT diesel zero turn built on hitch receiver. After lifting machine and sharpening blades, I forgot the hitch was attached and proceeded driving the unit and cutting my grass. 10 minutes in I hear a loud bang the machine shakes and spits out the bar about 20 feet out of the sides shute. Expecting to find one or more of my blades mangled, I looked under the mower, and was shot to fine to my delight, no damage at all to my blades.

You're right. I was complaining about the heat a little bit there, but you definitely reminded me it could be worse. Ima go cut the grass now😅

If I may offer a suggestion, any lumber you buy from any "box" store, get them over length and width, once you get them home, get some wax or some paint and seal the ends. This prevent extra drying which can cause splitting plus, if you take said lumber, lay flat, use "sticks" or thin flat boards in between as you layer your boards down. Keep something heavy on the top layer, paint cans, etc. Helps to keep them flat if you store your lumber for a bit before using. Also, use a shop vac to gather your sawdust, you can take that and spread out throughout your yard or garden and helps your soil.

I recently bought the Milwaukee M18 brushcutter, the run time is awful! For smaller jobs , it's great. For the bigger tough jobs, 2 stroke every time!

One last comment: make sure to install single pole switches correctly so the correct read, “Off and “On”.

Nice video but I have some constructive comments: Some of the original screw wires were wired incorrectly as the “shepard’s hook” should go around the screw in a clockwise direction when you tighten the screw as an electrician would never to it the other way. Suggest using a $2-3 dollar commercial switches with screw back plate wiring, NOT PUSH IN BACK STABBING tat is found on cheaper 99 cent switches. Commercial switches will last longer in high traffic on/off environments. Each switch needs to be grounded via their each ground screw for electrical safety. In the case of switches, you test the switch with one lead on the screw and the other lead to the ground wire inside the box, not both leads on each screw at the same time. Do the same thing on the other screw to ground to see that one is live instead.

The green screws are for ground wires. A lot of electricians are lazy and don’t bother to ground them during initial construction.

You had enough pigtail length that you could just snip the wires at the screws, restripped and used fresh wire behind the new screws. Just a thought.

Consider installing arc fault circuit interrupter breakers in the bathroom.

20 years is a baby home. 120 years, now your getting into a older home. A properly built home should last a 150 years, as long as it's maintained. An at new houses going at up to a half a million dollars today, they should last 200 to get your moneys worth. My house was built in 1950 and the 74 year old switches are still working great. But I agree those original switches which you had were not the best, even back then.

You attached the wire in the wrong direction on the first and third switch. Wires should always wrap around the terminal screw in a clockwise direction. That way when you tighten it up the screw pulls the wire around to help close the loop and make a better connection. i know this is a cosmetic thing, but most electricians will put all the slots of the screws in the same direction. Sometimes It's just the little things that make the job more professional looking
