Transistor - $p1nn1ng 1/\\/ C1rcl3$ (In Circles/_n C_rcl_s Spinmix/Duet) [MULTI-TRACK DRIFTING]
Headphones are needed for the best experience, k?
There was this old webm meme that took the older "multitrack drifting" meme in the direction of audio, using two totally different pieces of music as the tracks. It sounded horrible - and then I thought: "What if they weren't so goddamn differrent?"

Neural Network Dreaming of Rainbows
ΠΠ΅ΡΠ΅Π³Π»ΡΠ΄ΡΠ² 1545 ΡΠΎΠΊΡΠ² ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
Neural networks can be used to paint one picture in the style of another - for example, there's a network that can paint a picture of you in the style of the Mona Lisa. And so long as we can get a photo of a painting, we can use that photo to teach a neural network how to "paint" in that style. This style used in this video was made by giving a neural network trained on older, non-digital art a...
Neural Style Transfer Animation!
ΠΠ΅ΡΠ΅Π³Π»ΡΠ΄ΡΠ² 1325 ΡΠΎΠΊΡΠ² ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
By repeatedly performing neural style transfer, an image and feeding the result back into itself, if the style transfer network includes stochasticity, the result it that instead of eventually reaching a maximal-activation map (like google's deepdream code does) you get an animation instead. This video shows that off! I'm using a barely modified version of this codebase: github.com/elleryqueenh...
Soul of Cinder - True 8-Bit

None of the 8-Bit versions of SoC were using actual emulated NES soundchips. This video fixes that. The arrangement of the notes is very emphatically not my own. You can find it's author here: ua-cam.com/video/A3lpv4ohAUE/v-deo.html Regarding the graphics, also not my work. They were posted on a forum without attribution: if you know the source, could you comment so I can link to it? Thanks! DO...

Which software for making 8bit songs?
There are a lot of options. Most faithful would be using multiple different famitracker modules to voice. Most user friendly would be LMMS. But if you allow multiple famicom voices (needed for the polyphony we have here, ultimately it doesn't super matter. Famitracker is only necessary if you want to compose inside the contraint of a single nes instrument vs as an orchestra. This peice is a nes orchestra.
I come here sometimes to listen this, I love it every time
This sounds so lonely... I love it.

hell yeah bro. man, i wanna play through the entire dark souls series to get to this moment
Formula pls?
Glorious
Is this what it feels like... to be embered?
Great remix! I'm in need of some boss music for a 10-day gamejam I'm taking part in, so would it be OK to use this? (With credit to you, of course!)
Yeah! By all means! Thank you for asking, felt pretty great to see this~ I'd love to see the final prod.
@@6502x86 thank you so much! I'll get back to you in a week when we're done π
@@WestyDesign So much for that. (Two months later)
@@aprettyfunnyperson4516 It got used! I tried to comment a few times, UA-cam just kept deleting it.

This is so well done. Damn.
1:15 make me remember gears of war theme
The embered cape of the SoC is hella smooth, not something you'd see in 8-bit style arts, i dig it.
If the whole song was as loud as it was at 2:02 + it would of need so much better. Good remix though.
Yo thats a nice inversed mandelbrot!
I subscribed
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the future videos and songs I make and edit!
More comments for the algorythm god !!!
this got in my recommended after finishing ds3 and I like it

The art for this video is amazing
1:38 ''Dark souls 3 crashs''
You know, I think Dark Souls might have been even better if it were made in the pixel era of gaming.
Probably not. If it were like LoZ, maybe it would be good, but even then I still can't imagine it being "better" with such limited hardware. So much would be lost.
Anyone here?
Hi, what's up~?
Be honest, you didn't search for this.
True
Yea
i did
@@GeomaniaDasher i also did
I did, though. And then I couldn't find it, but I did find Max's 16bit chiptune version, which led me to UprisingGrand, who published the underlying note data. I knew just enough about LMMS (a music composition program) to bring that note structure in, tweak it verrrry slightly, pump it through emulated NES chips, and then do a bit to master the output and give it some pop to make it sound like a real recording instead of just digital waveforms being pumped through your speakers (a tiny bit of reverb does wonders for making chiptune music have that pop - I learned that trick from, of all things, the official OST for the gen 1 pokemon games). But yep. Did search, couldn't find, but by grace, luck, and good people sharing their skills, I could make this. The internet is so freaking cool! Imagine how much stuff like this just wouldn't exist if not for some DARPA geeks in the ninteen seventies!!!

a 2D remix of the entirety of DS3 would be rad tho ngl
Slashy souls :)
holy hot damn nice job
It captures the same epic feeling as the original but also the classic chip tune style
When Gwyn's part came on, I felt like I was finishing what I started in Dark Souls 1

Actually, if you don't mind, what is going on here? I'm really happy people are enjoying this thing - it's the best possible reward for the time I took tinkering with emulated nes soundchips and things - but don't understand what's driving its apparently newfound visibility. By the way, thank you for listening!
@@6502x86 well one, you are welcome this is awesome, second youtube works in a strange way, and this appeared randomly in my feed even if i didnt search or watched any dark souls content in a long time, so most likely sooner or later also a lot of other people will get randomly this video and click on it
