Honestly, this is what keeps happening… I will hear resellers talk about a brand being a bolo and I don’t do enough on my own research so what ends up happening is I will maybe pay up for some thing that isn’t going to sell for nearly as much as what a bolo should be selling for. So now I am hoping that was some of these dives into these brands. We know what to pay attention to and what we should know about a brand Beyond just the resale.

@@mercyceleste7813 thank you! For me, they were cheap enough that I was willing to give them a try and before I picked up the one game I definitely checked comps but I figured worst case scenario it’s not like I don’t have drawers where I just stuffed games lol

I am not sure how deep I want to get with ThredUP at this point, but I am still using them lol

But for some of these items, I just couldn’t let them have it… But it’s a one and done thing for me like I will send it in once and not do it ever again if it doesn’t sell for these kind of items.at least now that they charge us to get back our items individually

@@jesseenixon I sent a few of mine into TU as well and they did sell. I also brought a pair to Plato’s and they took them there as well. It’s such a hit or miss brand but sometimes I pick them up for cheap to try again. (These will probably get sent in anyway lol)

See I do not want people to know that I’m a reseller. Because I’ve literally seen stores where once they find out, they have resellers and they start pricing everything up. So whenever people are like oh it’s good to let people know what you do. I’m like OK it’s good to let your friends and family know what you do, but I don’t think you should be telling the businesses that are trying to make the most money possible, what you do

I think it’s hit or miss for me, but I will say that I am still making sales just because I’ve been spreading things out to places like ThredUp still. But I’ve been contemplating getting it into more Home Goods and toys but I don’t know where I’d put them lol.

I have been slacking on my listing over on eBay so I may need to move some of it over there as well. And I’ve heard the same thing about Madewell jeans but as long as I’m listing them around the $30-$40 mark I don’t have a problem. Now I do struggle to find Madewell in my stores lol but when I do find it, it usually does pretty well for me.

I do decently well with it. I mean no more than $20 usually but still if my cost is $3 and under, I don't have a problem listing them since it is usually a pretty quick and easy process all around.

So I used to sell shoes a long time ago lol - definitely early 2000s and then again around 2015 through about 2019 before I was just kind of over it lol - But I am trying to add some in since I can sometimes find them for low enough prices
